る。 Such carpet tiles are generally manufactured by cutting large carpets into predetermined dimensions, and the cutting device used for this purpose is, for example, as shown in FIG. It is known that a restrainer 6 is used to allow the upper blade 4 to rotate freely but to force the lower blade 5 to rotate. In this device, the surface layer material 2 of the carpet 1, especially the pile, is scissored at the point of contact between the flat surfaces of the upper blade 4 and the lower blade 5, and the backing material 3 is pressed and cut by the holding tool 6 and the lower blade 5. . Further, as shown in FIG. 6, a circular upper blade 7 with a double-sided cutting edge, a receiving roll 8 having a groove that engages with the upper blade 7, and a holding roll 9 are used, and the receiving roll 8 is forcibly rotated. There is also known a machine that cuts the carpet 1 while feeding the carpet 1 between the presser rolls 9 directly above the carpet.

However, since carpet tiles are installed on the floor, cutting dimensions, precision of the cut surface, straightness, etc. during manufacturing are extremely important, but because they are made of composite materials as mentioned above, cutting them is difficult. The above-mentioned conventional cutting devices each have their own problems. That is, in the case shown in FIG. 5, since the carpet backing material 3 is an elastic body, the contact resistance of the lower blade 5 on the cutting surface 5A side is large, and the carpet 1 is likely to be curved in the cutting direction and cut. In addition, since the upper blade 4 and lower blade 5 are provided in fixed positions, the contact surfaces of the upper blade and lower blade may wear out, causing the upper blade to
There was a problem that a gap formed between the lower blades, resulting in poor cutting quality. In addition, in the apparatus shown in FIG. 6, the carpet is cut on both sides of the upper blade 7, so the straightness is improved, but gaps are created due to wear of the grooves of the upper blade 7 or the receiving roll 8 that contacts the upper blade 7. However, because it cuts on both sides, the resistance increases and the cutting quality becomes extremely poor. Furthermore, the cut surface of the carpet has a V shape as shown in Fig. 7 due to the shape of the cutting edge of the upper blade 7.
There was also the problem that when the carpet tiles were laid, the joints were left open and the appearance was undesirable.

The carpet cutting device of the present invention, which has been made to achieve the above object, comprises: a disk-shaped cutting blade having an acute cutting edge and sloped blade surfaces on both sides thereof; a device for rotationally driving the cutting blade; and a cutting edge. a pair of dish-shaped receiving blades each having an acute-angled cutting edge and arranged so that the cutting edges can contact blade surfaces on both sides of the cutting blade; and a device for rotationally driving the dish-shaped receiving blade. , means for pressing the dish-shaped receiving blade so that its cutting edge is in pressure contact with the blade surface of the cutting blade, and the rotational axis of the dish-shaped receiving blade passes through the rotational axis of the cutting blade and the carpet travels. The tray is deviated toward the supply side of the carpet with respect to the straight line perpendicular to the path, and furthermore, the tray is arranged so that the moving speeds of the tip of the tray-shaped receiving blade and the blade surface of the cutting blade are different at the point of contact between the two. It is characterized in that the rotational speeds of the shape receiving blade and cutting blade are determined.

According to the cutting device configured as described above, the carpet is supplied with the backing material side facing the cutting blade side, and the disk-shaped cutting blade having blade surfaces inclined on both sides cuts the carpet from the backing material side. For this reason, double-sided cutting is performed, improving the straightness of the carpet tile,
Moreover, the end face of the carpet tile has an inverted V cut. Next, on the surface layer side of the carpet, the sharp cutting edge of the dish-shaped receiver blade is pressed against the blade surface of the cutting blade, so the carpet surface material, which is difficult to cut, is pushed and cut by the blade surface of the cutting blade and the dish-shaped receiver blade. It will be done. Here, since a means for pressing the dish-shaped receiving blade against the cutting blade is provided, even if the cutting edge or blade surface is worn out, the pressure contact state of the cutting edge against the cutting surface is always maintained, and good cutting can be achieved for a long period of time. It is possible. In addition, since the rotational axis of the dish-shaped receiving blade is shifted toward the carpet supply side with respect to the straight line passing through the rotational axis of the cutting blade and perpendicular to the carpet travel path, the cutting angle of the cutting blade tip with respect to the carpet (second The angle α) in the figure can be increased, the elastic material constituting the backing material of the carpet can be cut well, and a precise and beautiful cut surface can be obtained. Furthermore, the cutting edge of the dish-shaped receiving blade contacts the cutting blade surface at different speeds, and the cutting edge slides on the cutting surface, making it possible to reliably scrape off even thin fiber materials that are difficult to cut. .

ている。 As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the cutting device of this embodiment includes a disc-shaped cutting blade 10, a pair of dish-shaped receiving blades 11,
It has 11. As shown in an enlarged view in FIG. 3, the cutting blade 10 has a cutting edge 12 which is cut on both sides, so that both sides of the cutting edge 12 have symmetrically inclined blade surfaces 12A, 12A, respectively. The cutting edge angle θ 1 of the cutting edge 12 is formed to be an acute angle. on the other hand,
The dish-shaped receiver blade 11 has a cutting edge 13 at its peripheral edge, and both the outer blade surface 13A and the inner blade surface 13B are inclined with respect to a plane AA perpendicular to the rotation axis. Therefore, the cutting edge angle θ 2 of the cutting edge 13 is also an acute angle.

The pair of dish-shaped receiving blades 11, 11 are slidably held by splines 16, 16 of drive shafts 15, 15, respectively, having a rotation axis CC parallel to the rotation axis B-B, and are slidably held together with the drive shaft 15. Rotate. Drive shaft 1
5 and 15 are also forcibly rotated by a drive device (not shown), and accordingly, the dish-shaped receiving blades 11 and 11 are also forcibly rotated. The drive shafts 15, 15 further include disks 17, 1
7 is fixedly held, and coil springs 18, 18 are arranged between the disks 17, 17 and the dish-shaped receiving blades 11, 11. The coil springs 18, 18 push the disc-shaped receiving blades 11, 11 to slide relative to the drive shafts 15, 15, so that the cutting edges 13, 13 of the disc-shaped receiving blades 11, 11 are moved as shown in FIG. It is always pressed against the blade surfaces 12A, 12A of the cutting blade 10.
In this embodiment, the coil springs 18, 18 constitute a means for pressing the dish-shaped receiving blade so that its cutting edge comes into pressure contact with the blade surface of the cutting blade, but instead of the coil springs, air pressure, hydraulic pressure, etc. may be used. It's okay. In addition, instead of making the dish-shaped receiving blade slidable with respect to the drive shaft 15, the dish-shaped receiving blade is fixed to the drive shaft 15, and the driving shaft is pushed in the axial direction so that the cutting edge 13 of the dish-shaped receiving blade can be moved into the cutting blade. It may be made to come into pressure contact with the blade surface 12A of No. 10. Since the cutting blade 10 and the receiving blade 11 are constantly in pressure contact with each other, wear is likely to occur. Therefore, it is preferable that the hardness of the cutting blade and the receiving blade be different from each other so that one of them is mainly worn.

果については後述する。 In FIG. 2, between the rotational axis B of the cutting blade 10 and the rotational axis C of the dish-shaped receiving blade 11, there is a carpet holder 19 that carries a carpet and moves horizontally to the right. There is a cutting blade 10 above.
There is a holding roll 20 that prevents the carpet from being lifted up by the pressing force of the carpet. Holding roll 2
As shown in FIG. 1, a pair of blades 0 are provided near both sides of the plate-shaped receiving blades 11, 11. Referring again to FIG. 2, the rotational axis C of the dish-shaped receiving blade 10 is shifted toward the carpet supply side by a distance l with respect to the straight line D-D passing through the rotational axis B of the cutting blade 10 and perpendicular to the carpet running surface. Therefore, the contact point 21 between the cutting edge of the dish-shaped receiver blade 11 and the cutting surface of the cutting blade 10, that is, the cutting point 21, also lies on the straight line D.
- It is shifted to the carpet supply side from D. This effect will be discussed later.

より遅くすると最も好ましい結果が得られた。 Next, a carpet cutting method using the cutting device having the above structure will be explained. The cutting blade 10 and the receiving blade 11 are the second
It is forcibly rotated in the directions shown by arrows E and F in the figure. The carpet 1 is placed on a carpet pedestal 19 with the surface material 2 facing the receiving blade 11 side and the backing material 3 facing the cutting blade 10 side, and is moved in the direction shown by arrow G, that is, from left to right in the drawing. The cutting blade 10 is sent in the direction
and the receiving blade 11. At this time, the carpet is passed through so that the surface material 2 passes through the contact point 21 between the cutting blade 10 and the receiving blade 11. First, the backing material 3 of the carpet 1 is cut off with the cutting blade 10. Since the cutting blade 10 has sloped blade surfaces on both sides, it is possible to cut the carpet in an accurate straight line. At this time, the carpet 1 tends to be pushed upward by the pressing force of the cutting blade 10, but since the pair of pressure rolls 20, 20 press the carpet, good cutting is performed. Next, the pile fiber layer of the surface material 2 is pushed and scraped at the contact point between the blade surface of the cutting blade 10 and the cutting edge of the receiving blade 11. At this time, the cutting edge of the receiving blade 11 is always strongly pressed against the blade surface of the cutting blade 10, so that good cutting can be performed regardless of whether the cutting edge is worn or not.
Note that if the moving speeds of the cutting edge of the receiving blade 11 and the cutting blade surface at the contact point 21 are the same,
Since fine fibers may come out without being cut while being sandwiched between the upper and lower blades, the rotational speeds of the cutting blade 10 and the receiving blade 11 are determined so that the moving speeds of the two are different. Through various test cuts, it was found that the most favorable results were obtained when the traveling speed of the carpet pedestal 19 and the circumferential speed of the cutting blade 10 were matched, and the circumferential speed of the receiving blade 11 was made slower than the circumferential speed of the cutting blade 10.

は回転軸線位置を調節可能となしている。 As described above, in this embodiment, the rotational axis CC of the receiving blade 11 is shifted toward the carpet supply side.
For this reason, the passage position of the backing material 3 of the carpet 1 is lowered, and the angle α (see FIG. 2) at which the cutting blade 10 cuts into the carpet 1 becomes larger, and the backing material 3 passes through the carpet 1.
Since a large cutting force can be obtained, the precision of the cut surface is improved and the finish is beautiful. The horizontal distance l between the axis of rotation of the cutting blade 10 and the axis of rotation of the receiving blade 11 is determined depending on the thickness of the carpet and the diameters of the cutting blade and the receiving blade, as long as the backing material 3 does not contact the receiving blade 11 first. Therefore, in this embodiment, the rotation axis position can be adjusted.

Alternatively, the carpet may be left stationary and the cutting blade and receiving blade may be run along the carpet. Furthermore, it goes without saying that the carpet may be cut by running the carpet with its surface side facing down, and placing the cutting blade 10 above the carpet and the dish-shaped receiving blades 11 below the carpet. .

As detailed above, according to the present invention, the carpet is cut from the backing material side using a disc-shaped cutting blade having blade surfaces inclined on both sides, and the cutting edge has a large cutting angle with respect to the carpet. Because of this, it is possible to cut both sides of the backing material made of elastic material etc. in an inverted V shape, resulting in a beautiful cut surface and the straightness of the resulting carpet tile. will improve. Furthermore, since the surface material of carpet, which is made of difficult-to-cut fiber materials, is cut by pressing the sharp edge of the dish-shaped receiving blade against the blade surface of the cutting blade and by varying the relative speed, reliable cutting is possible. This is possible, and even if the cutting edge or blade surface is worn out, the pressed state of the cutting edge is always maintained, so good cutting can be achieved for a long period of time. Thus, the present invention has an excellent effect in that it is possible to obtain beautiful carpet tiles with excellent dimensional accuracy and no gaping at the joints during construction.
