As is well known, tea utensils such as teapots are formed by casting, potter's wheel molding, etc., and these methods all involve forming the main body of the teapot, including the body, spout, handle, and lid. are individually molded, holes are formed at desired positions in the body, a spout is attached to the hole, and a handle is attached to the side wall of the body to integrate them. Therefore, when molding the main body of a teapot, it is necessary to not only mold the body, spout, and handle, but also to drill a hole in the body and join the spout to the hole.
This requires various steps such as joining the handle to the body.

The present invention aims to improve mass productivity by further simplifying the conventional molding method. The body part is formed by a mud-removal casting method in which a cast-molded base that has lost its fluidity is formed on the wall surface, and fluid drainage liquid is drained from the opening of the plaster mold and then removed from the mold. The object of the present invention is to provide a method for integrally molding tea utensils such as teapots, flower vases, etc., which are composed of a spout, a spout, and a handle.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Reference numerals 1 and 2 are plaster molds for forming the teapot main body 3 which are formed into upper and lower halves, and the plaster molds 1 and 2 include:
The body 3a, spout 3b, and handle 3c of the teapot body 3
It is formed by integrally hollowing it out. 4 is a plurality of convex portions protruding from the outer peripheral edge of the upper end of the lower mold 2; 5 is a plurality of recessed portions recessed from the outer peripheral edge of the upper mold 1;
The concave portion 5 is fitted into the convex portion 4, thereby positioning the upper mold 1 and the lower mold 2 and supporting them together.
6 is an opening formed in the upper mold 1 above the body 3a; 7
8 is an opening formed in the upper mold 1 above the spout end of the spout portion 3b, and 8 is an opening formed in the upper mold 1 above the end of the handle portion 3c.

After the above-mentioned plaster upper mold 1 and lower mold 2 for forming the teapot body 3 are joined and supported vertically, a fluid slurry, that is, mixed clay is poured from the opening (6). Sludge A, also called slip, which has been made fluid by adding water and a deflocculant, is poured in and left for a certain period of time as shown in Figure 4a. Then, the slurry near the inner wall surfaces of the plaster molds 1 and 2 gradually spreads to the plaster molds 1 and 2.
Usually, after about 30 minutes in summer and 60 minutes in winter, a constant thickness of about 3 mm is deposited on the inner walls of the plaster molds 1 and 2, as shown in Figure 4b. However, the casting base B of the teapot body 3, which is a layer that has lost its fluidity, is formed. Here, tilt the plaster molds 1 and 2 and cast the molded base B of the teapot body 3.
Fluid slurry drainage collected inside the
When A' is poured out through the opening 6 to remove mud and removed from the mold, the casting base B of the teapot body 3 formed in the state shown in FIG. 4c is exposed.
Next, as shown in FIG. 5a, a plaster for closing the opening is fixed to the joint opening 9 between the body 3a and the handle 3c of the molded base B, and is fixed to the lower end side of the band plate 10 as shown in FIG. After inserting the mold 11 through the opening 6 of the body 3a and closing it by abutting it, the mold 11 is inserted into the opening 8 of the handle 3c.
Pour in a small amount of slurry A again. If this is left for a while, a casting portion C having a certain thickness is formed in the connection port 9 as shown in FIG. 5b, thereby closing the port 9. At the same time, a plaster mold 11 for closing the mouth part is inserted from the teapot body 3.
Remove the mold, and also tilt the teapot body 3 and remove the handle part 3.
The slurry drainage A' is drained from the opening 8 of c.
After that, the upper end opening 6 of the body 3a of the teapot body 3,
Unnecessary protrusions formed at the upper end opening 7 of the spout part 3b and the upper end opening 8 of the handle part 3c are cut off with a razor or the like to form the integrally molded teapot main body 3 as shown in FIG. Subject to firing process. still,
3d is an engaging flange at the upper end of the body 3a on which the lid 12 is mounted.

As described above, the present invention makes it possible to integrally mold tea utensils such as teapots, flower vases, etc. consisting of a body, a spout, and a handle by using the mud removal molding method. The work process is significantly simplified compared to the conventional method, contributing to improved mass productivity and significant reductions in product costs. However, by integrally molding the body, the spout, and the handle, the body 3a and the spout 3b are
Since the connection port 13 can be formed in a very gentle manner with a large opening, the flow of the tea ceremony from the body 3a to the spout 3b becomes very smooth. Therefore, for the teapot body 3 formed by the molding method according to the present invention, holes having semi-arc-shaped protrusions 15 are formed in a synthetic resin frame 14 curved in a substantially rectangular shape as shown in FIG. A tea strainer is formed by lining and fixing a small wire mesh 16, and this is connected to the connection port 13.
It is designed to engage and support the inner surfaces of both upper and lower ends of the body portion 3a on the side. From this point of view, the present invention is extremely useful.
