Double sash windows, which are made by arranging an outer shoji and an inner shoji at a predetermined distance and forming an intermediate chamber between the outer shoji and the inner shoji, have excellent heat insulation and sound insulation performance, so they have been used in various structures in the past. However, in order to improve the heat insulation and sound insulation performance of double sash windows, it is necessary to create a structure that takes into account the airtightness between the outer and inner shoji, but it is necessary to create a structure that takes into account the airtightness between the outer and inner shoji. If this is done, there is an inconvenience that dew condensation may occur on the glass intermediate chamber or the window surface on the side of the room during the winter season when there is a large temperature difference between the inside and outside of the room.

In the past, various studies have been conducted to prevent the occurrence of condensation, but since the heat insulation/sound insulation effect and the prevention of condensation due to the airtight structure of double sash windows have contradictory properties, it is difficult to solve this problem, and there is still no satisfactory solution. The reality is that this has not been done.

The present invention has been made based on the above-mentioned circumstances, and its object is to arrange an outer shoji and an inner shoji at a predetermined interval, and to form an intermediate chamber between the outer shoji and the inner shoji. In the double sash window, a groove is formed around the entire circumference at the joint of the outer shoji and the inner shoji, and the intermediate chamber and the outdoor side are communicated via the groove, and the groove is airtight. The insulation and sound insulation performance, which is the original function of double sash windows, is sufficiently maintained by wrapping the materials around the entire circumference with appropriate spacing near the corners where the vertical and horizontal bars join. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a double sash window that can prevent the occurrence of dew condensation.

Reference numerals 10 and 10a are airtight materials installed in the groove 9, and these airtight materials 10 and 10a are made of a packing member such as rubber, and are connected to the vertical bars 2b of the outer shoji mounting bars 2' and the inner shoji mounting bars 3'. , 2b・3b, 3b
In the vicinity of the corner portion A where the horizontal bars 2a, 2a, 3a, and 3a join, they are interposed over the entire circumference in a state where they are wrapped at appropriate intervals. 6 shows a specific example of the arrangement of the airtight members 10, 10a, in which the upper, lower, left and right airtight members 10, 10a are arranged so as to have a U-shape when viewed from the front. If the wrap is wrapped near the corner part A, the upper, lower, left and right airtight materials 1
0 and 10a are respectively arranged in an L-shape when viewed from the front and wrapped near the corner A, and the upper, lower, left and right airtight materials 10 and 10a are arranged in combination in a U-shape and an I-shape when viewed from the front. 1A and 1B illustrate upper, lower, left and right airtight members 10 and 10a arranged in a modified U-shape and wrapped near the corner A, respectively. In addition, the corner joints of the airtight materials 10 and 10a should be made completely airtight, and the length of the wrap (weighted seam) on one side near the corner part A should be made a certain length (for example, 20 cm).

In the above-mentioned embodiment, a double sash window was explained in which the blind 5 was arranged in the glass intermediate chamber 4 and the window could be opened inward and folded inwards. It can also be applied to double sash windows such as double sash windows and sliding shoji windows, as well as continuous windows (see Figure 9).
The same applies to In the figure, b is the indoor side, 11 is an opening, and 12 is a cover.

As is clear from the above configuration, according to the present invention,
Glass middle room 4 and outdoor side a have outer shoji 2 and inner shoji 3
Since the glass intermediate chamber 4 is communicated through the groove 9 provided at the joint between the two, the glass intermediate chamber 4 is open to the outside, and therefore even in winter when there is a difference in temperature and water vapor pressure between the inside and outside of the room, the glass intermediate chamber 4 can be opened to the outside. The humidity around 4 will be equalized.

In addition, the temperature inside the glass intermediate chamber 4 is a mixed temperature of the outdoor side temperature a and the indoor side temperature b, which is higher than the outdoor temperature, and does not fall below the condensation temperature of the air inside the glass intermediate chamber 4, so condensation occurs. The occurrence of this will be prevented.

By the way, the sound insulation performance is determined by the glass thickness and the glass spacing, but opening the glass intermediate chamber 4 to the outside has a reduction effect on sound insulation (and heat insulation).

However, in the present invention, the opening of the glass intermediate chamber 4 is made through the groove 9, and the groove 9 is provided with airtight materials 10, 10a, and the vertical bars 2b, 2b, 3b,
3b and the horizontal bars 2a, 2a, 3a, 3a are attached to the entire circumference in a wrapped state near the corner where they join. An air flow path C is formed by the airtight material inserted in the glass intermediate chamber 4, and the air flows inside and outside the glass intermediate chamber 4 via this flow path C, so that the influence of the above-mentioned openings is minimized. can be kept to a minimum.

As described above, the present invention provides a double sash window in which an outer shoji and an inner shoji are arranged at a predetermined interval and an intermediate chamber is formed between the outer shoji and the inner shoji. A groove is formed around the entire circumference of the part, and the intermediate chamber and the outdoor side are communicated through the groove, and an airtight material is suitably applied to the groove near the corner where the vertical beam and the horizontal beam join. Because it was attached all around the circumference with a gap and wrapped,
It has a simple structure and has the effect of preventing dew condensation as much as possible while sufficiently maintaining the heat insulation performance and sound insulation performance, which are the original functions of double sash windows, without increasing costs.
