作するに当たつて、従来は第4図aに示すように
平面視所要の曲率に切抜いてアル状に弯曲された
水平片部1aを形成し、この水平片部1aとは別
個独立して水平片部1aの両端縁に沿つて弯曲す
る両垂直片部1b,1cを形成し、両者の突き合
わせコーナ部を熔接手段5a,5bによつて一体
に連設し、これら熔接部分を研磨仕上げすること
によつて所要の弯曲窓枠部材1を製作するように
していた。しかしこの製造方法では適当な平板か
ら水平片部1aをいちいち所要の曲率に切抜いて
形成しなければならず、しかも水平片部1aと両
垂直片部1b,1cとの熔接作業及び研磨仕上げ
作業を必要とし、当然に製造単価が非常に高くつ
く難点がある。これを解消するために第4図bに
示すように水平片部1′aとその両端縁から垂設
される両垂直片部1′b,1′cとからなる断面略
コ字状の型材1′を製作し、これをベンダーによ
つて平面視所要の曲率に強制的に弯曲することに
よつて弯曲窓枠部材1を製作するようにしている
が、この製造方法では図示のように弯曲作業時に
ベンダーの接する弯曲内周側に位置する垂直片部
1′cには圧縮応力が負荷し、この圧縮応力によ
つて該垂直片部1′cの基端部1′caは水平片部
1′aに支持されているが遊端部1′cbはフリー
であるから上記圧縮応力の作用によつて遊端部
1′cbが図中一点鎖線で示すように外周側に歪変
形をきたし、また弯曲外周側に位置する垂直片部
1′bには引張応力が負荷し、この引張応力によ
つて該垂直片部1′bの基端部1′baは水平片部
1′aに支持されているが遊端部1′bbはフリー
であるから上記引張応力の作用によつて遊端部
1′bbが図中一点鎖線で示すように内周側に歪変
形をきたし、結局これら両垂直片部1′b,1′c
が水平片部1′aに対し垂直に正確に垂設されな
いため、不良品が多々発生し、所要断面形状の窓
枠部材を製造することが出来なかつた。

を第1図及び第2図によつて説明すると、まず第
1図に示すように上部水平部片10aとこれに対
向する下部水平部片10bと両水平部片の左側端
縁間をつなぐ左側垂直部片10cと右側端縁間を
つなぐ右側垂直部片10dとからなる断面略矩形
中空状のアルミニウム合金製の押出型材であつ
て、少なくとも上部水平部片10aと下部水平部
片10bとが互いの対向間隙中心線Oに対して線
対称に設けられた型材10を製作する。なおこの
際上下部水平部片10a,10b及び弯曲内周面
側の垂直部片10dにはこれに直交して接続され
る他の窓枠部材とのビス止め用のビスポケツト1
1を一体形成することが後述の理由により好まし
い。そして次にロールベンダーによつて上述型材
10を平面視所要の曲率にアール状に弯曲し、而
る後上記対向間隙中心線Oに沿つて切断具によつ
て上記両垂直部片10c,10dを切断すること
によつて、第2図に示すように平面視アール状に
弯曲された水平片部12aと水平片部の両端縁か
ら一体に垂設される両垂直片部12b,12cと
からなる断面略コ字状の一対の窓枠部材12、例
えば水切り部材を製造するようにしたものであ
る。この発明によれば上部水平部片10aとこれ
に対向する下部水平部片10bと両水平部片の互
いの両端縁間をつなぐ左右側垂直部片10c,1
0dとからなる断面略矩形中空状の型材10を平
面視アール状に弯曲する際に、弯曲時に右側垂直
部片10dに作用する圧縮応力、及び左側垂直部
片10cに作用する引張応力に対して両垂直部片
10d,10cはその上下両端部がそれぞれ上下
部水平部片10a,10bに支持されているた
め、これらの支持力によつて上記応力に抗して歪
変形の発生がほとんどなく両垂直部片10d,1
0cの垂直状態を正確に維持することができる。
なおこの際上述のように各部片にビスポケツト1
1を一体形成することによつてこれらビスポケツ
ト11が一種の補強リブの作用を果たし歪の発生
を一層抑制することになる。
