DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an electrostatic airless handgun, in which a linear paint passage is formed in the gun barrel, and a paint inlet is provided on the upper side of the ground handle at the rear of the gun barrel. This invention relates to an electrostatic airless handgun in which the overall length of the gun including the part is shortened.

Generally, for electrostatic guns, the length of the gun (barrel length) as an insulator has an important meaning.
In other words, since a high-voltage line is introduced inside the gun barrel via a high-voltage cable, it is necessary to prevent creeping discharge that occurs between the gun barrel and the high-voltage cable and back to the ground handle. Aerial discharge also occurs between the charged electrode at the tip of the voltage applied and the ground handle, but this is related to the amount of charge on the paint, so minimizing it to an extremely low level is due to the electrostatic effect (so-called throwing effect). ), which is undesirable because of the decrease in the electrostatic charge. However, if the barrel length is shortened and the amount of discharge is increased, the voltage drop will increase and the electrostatic effect will decrease. Therefore, the current situation is that the required distance for preventing creeping discharge is usually set in the gun barrel, and the electrostatic effect is stabilized by changing the shape of the electrode to prevent air discharge. In order to prevent this and to maintain the electrostatic effect, the barrel must have a certain length. However, since a handgun requires a barrel that maintains a constant length and a grounded handle to which the barrel is fixed, the overall shape of the gun becomes larger, which poses problems in terms of workability as a handgun.

It is also an important issue to maintain a constant length of the insulating barrel and in what area of the gun the paint passage is provided. Generally, as shown in FIG. 1, the paint inlet is sometimes provided on the lower surface of the gun barrel, and sometimes it is provided at the bottom of the handle. However, in the former case, the length of the gun body inevitably increases, which is a serious drawback in the case of a handgun. Also, in the latter case,
A paint passage will be formed inside the handle, but
If thorough measures are not taken to prevent paint leakage, there is a risk of insulation breakdown and the product becoming unusable.
This increases the thickness of the handle and makes manufacturing difficult.

In consideration of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention forms the paint passage as a linear passage in the gun barrel, and also provides a paint inlet on the upper side surface of the handle, which is a linear extension of the paint passage, and this inlet is triggered from the bottom of the handle. It is connected to the paint pipe that runs in front of the pipe. This makes it possible to shorten the overall length of the gun, including the barrel, and to easily implement insulation measures against high voltage. Moreover, the electrostatic effect caused by the opposing electrode is eliminated by the paint pipe section bypassed in front of the trigger. Can be withdrawn.

In the above configuration, the operation of the present invention will be explained next. First, the paint is fed under pressure by a paint pressure pump (not shown) through the paint hose 27 below the gun handle part 3. It is connected to a joint 28 at the base end of a paint pipe 13 provided in front of the trigger 7, and is supplied through the paint pipe 13 to a paint inlet 15 provided on the side of the handle portion 3. The paint is then pumped through the sleeve 16 and into the paint passage 5.

Now, if you grasp the handle part 3 and pull the trigger 7,
The needle valve 6 retreats, and the pressurized paint is sprayed from the nozzle port 19 at the tip communicating with the paint passage 5, and high voltage is applied to the inside of the L-shaped casing 10 contained in the handle part 3 and the gun barrel part 2. It passes through the electrical passage section 11 and is supplied to the charging electrode 23 of the tip atomizing section 4 . When a high voltage is applied to the charging electrode 23, the floating electrode 26 facing away from the charging electrode 23
Electrical discharge crosses the paint film sprayed from the nozzle port 19 and charges the paint particles, and the electric field electrode 25 extends forward from the power receiving part 24. A stable electric field is formed between the metallic paint pipes 13.

As described above, the present invention provides a paint inlet on the upper side surface of the ground handle at the rear of the gun barrel, which is a linear extension of the paint passage, and fixes the base end of the paint pipe to the base end of the handle, and By passing in front of the trigger, bypassing the lower surface of the barrel, passing through the side of the barrel, and connecting to the paint inlet on the upper side of the rear handle, the insulator is lower than in conventional hand guns of this type. This allows the overall length of the gun to be shortened while maintaining the same barrel length, improving ease of handling. That is, as shown in FIG. 1, compared to conventional handguns, the barrel length L can be kept constant and can be shortened by length A. In addition, by placing the paint pipe in front of the trigger, it can also serve as a safety guard for the trigger, improving handling safety (there is no need to take the trouble to attach a safety guard, which was traditionally attached). Can also be used as a paint pipe).

In addition, regarding the electrostatic effect due to the counter electrode, compared to the conventional grounding handle that was used as the counter electrode,
By arranging the metal paint pipe in front of the handle near the charging electrode at the tip, the paint pipe itself functions as a counter electrode, making it possible to enhance the electrostatic effect unprecedentedly. It is possible to achieve the above-mentioned purpose.
