In particular, when packaging items that are cubes, rectangular parallelepipeds, or similar shapes, by inserting a cushioning material between the four corners of the outer box and the corners of the packaged item, it is possible to protect the inner surface of the item and the outer box. It maintains a gap and protects the entire item with a small amount of cushioning material.

分を損傷するおそれがある。 However, when cubes, rectangular parallelepipeds, or similar shaped items are packaged as described above, the packaged items may move slightly within the outer box during transport or transportation, and the cushioning material may not be used. As a result, the corners of the article will be rubbed, and there is a risk that the apex and ridgeline portions of the corners will be particularly damaged.

しようとするものである。 In view of the above-mentioned circumstances, the present invention is a packaging cushioning material that is mainly used for packaging cubes, rectangular parallelepipeds, or similar shaped articles in an outer box, and that does not cause damage to the corners of the packaged articles. This is what we are trying to provide.

ある。 In the drawings, reference numeral 1 denotes a buffer member made of a hollow double-walled plastic structure.
is formed into a shape that is placed over a corner of an article 2 such as a rectangular parallelepiped and abuts three surfaces 3, 4, and 5 of the corner, that is, a substantially triangular pyramid shape. On the inner wall of the buffer member 1, grooves 10 having a depth of 1/4 or more of the thickness of the three buffer members are formed at locations corresponding to the apex 6 of the packaged article 2 and its respective ridgelines 7, 8, and 9. The corresponding portions of the outer wall are formed in a straight line. In addition, the outer wall top portion 1 of the buffer member 1
1 is formed to be rounded, and each skirt portion 12, 13, 14 of the buffer member 1 is formed in a shape that opens outward in an inclined shape. Ribs may be formed on the outer wall surface of the buffer member 1 for reinforcement or anti-slip purposes. 15 is an outer box, such as a cardboard box.

and bring its inner wall surface into close contact with the three corner surfaces 3, 4, and 5 of the article to be packaged 2. And the article to be packaged 2
When the packaged article 2 is stored in the outer box 15 and the outer box 15 is closed, the article to be packaged 2 is packaged with its corners immovably supported on the inner surface of the outer box 15 via the buffer member 1.

なく、被包装物品2は安全に保護される。 However, as described above, the buffer member 1 used to package the article 2 in the outer box 15 has the apex 6 of each corner of the article 2 to be packaged and the ridge lines 7, 8, 9 on its inner wall.
Since the concave groove 10 is formed in the corresponding portion, the buffer member 1 does not come into contact with the apex 6 of each corner and the ridge lines 7, 8, and 9 of the packaged article 2. Therefore, even if the packaged article 2 housed in the outer box 15 is slightly shaken during transportation or transport, the corner apex 6 and the ridgeline 7 of the packaged article 2 can be easily moved.
8 and 9 are not likely to be damaged by being rubbed by the buffer member 1, and the packaged article 2 is safely protected.

る。 Since the present invention is constructed as described above, it is mainly used for packaging cubes, rectangular parallelepipeds, or similar shaped articles in outer boxes such as cardboard, and cushioning members are attached to the apexes and ridges of each corner of the packaged articles. It is possible to reliably protect the corners of the packaged articles without causing any contact with the edges and damaging the corners of the packaged articles.
