によつておこなわれることになり、ジヨイントの
ための応力が端面材に加わることはないものであ
つて、端面材を強固に基板の端面に取り付けるよ
うな必要はなく接着など簡単な手段で端面材を基
板に取り付けるようにしても基板同士のジヨイン
トの強度に何等影響はないものである。加えて基
板の対向側端部に端面材を取付けて形成される天
板材の上面に端部を除いて表面材を貼付けると共
に、各天板材の上面に貼付けた表面材の間におい
て天板材の突き合わせ端部の上面間に跨がつて目
地表面材を貼付けるようにしたので、ジヨイント
する際に端面材の突き合わせ部分の上面間に段違
いができても、この段違いは目地表面材で覆われ
ることになつて段違いが目立つことを防止するこ
