この発明は、火葬場の火葬炉とその前方の化粧
扉との間に備えてある火葬台車を安置し得る冷却
室で、火葬終了後の赤熱している火葬台車を冷却
気(常温又は冷却器で冷却した空気)を吸き付け
て冷却する装置に関するもので、火葬台車を効率
よく短時間で冷却されると共に、冷却時に火葬台
車上の遺骨や遺灰が台車外に飛散されることなく
冷却されることを目的として提供することにあ

が望まれて来た。そこで、特公昭56−8244号公
報、及び実公昭56−13466号公報などによつて解
決策が提案されている。前記特公昭の公報による
装置は、化粧扉と火葬炉間に設けた冷却室に冷却
台を設け、該台に載せた火葬台車の上方に排気ダ
クトに連結したフードを設けておき、下の冷却台
より噴出する冷却気を火葬台車の下面に当て、排
気ダクトに吸気機器で吸気力を与えることによ
り、冷却気は火葬台車の下面より上昇し、火葬台
車の上面を舐めてダクトに流動して冷却するもの

のであつて、自然冷却と比べれば強制冷却である
から能率を倍加されることは当然であるが、物体
が熱を帯びている場合、その物体の表面に熱気層
が存在するもので、冷却気流で物体を舐める時よ
りも、冷却気を物体の面に対し直角方向より噴出
して当てた方が熱気層が急速に破壊され、冷却速
度を更に高められるもので、一般には7倍の速度
で熱降下されるものである。しかし、こうした冷
却効果が得られるとしても、火葬台車の場合、台
車上に遺骨灰が載置されているものであり、直角
方向より噴出すると遺骨灰が飛散して仕舞う欠点
が生じ、そのために前記公報の如く舐めるように

気されるように構成したことを特徴とするもので

れるもので、該冷却室5の床上に設けた載置台6

動装置8によつて火葬台車3を載置台6より火葬
炉4内へ、火葬炉4内から載置台6へ移動するよ
うに構成し、リミツトスイツチ9で火葬台車3を
載置台6の所定位置で停止するように制御される
もので、本発明は火葬台車3の移動及び制御に関
するものではないので、それらの詳説は省略す
