Conventionally, as the above-mentioned method, a method has been adopted in which punches are arranged in a staggered manner, the interval between the punches is one pitch, and the short plate is transferred by one pitch per stroke for punching. For example, the first
As shown in the figure, in the first stroke, five small pieces 2 arranged in a staggered manner are pressed out from a short plate 1 (however, three of the five pieces have their starting edges partially pressed out). (or it's a blank that hasn't been done at all). In the second stroke, the short plate 1 is transferred by one pitch and five small pieces 3 are punched out. Similarly, in the third stroke, piece 4 is
In the fourth stroke, the small pieces 5 are pressed out (however, three out of the five small pieces 5 either have their terminal edges partially pressed out, or are not blanked out at all).

However, in the above case, the short plate 1 in FIG.
If the total length of is L, the length of the small piece is l, and the interval between the small pieces is C, then unless the relationship 3l + 3C ≦ 3l + 4C is satisfied, at least one of the starting edge and the ending edge of the short plate 1 will be unloaded. In other words, it was not possible to obtain a small piece with a perfect shape, and the starting edge and the ending edge were partially pressed out, and the punch was tilted during this pressing, and there was a risk of damage to the mold.

That is, the present invention uses punches arranged in a staggered manner, and when performing press punching by moving a short plate by one pitch per stroke with the arrangement interval of the punches being one pitch, as shown in FIG. It is characterized in that the terminal end edge of the preceding short board 1 and the starting end edge of the following short board 1' are press-cut at the same time.
A subsequent short plate 1' is sent in at an appropriate distance from the preceding short plate 1, and the terminal edge of the preceding short plate 1, which has been partially pressed in the past, and the following short plate 1' are separated.
By simultaneously pressing the starting edge of the punch across both ends, a single load on the punch can be effectively prevented.

In order to feed subsequent short plates at appropriate intervals, perforations 6 are provided on both sides of the short plate 1' as shown in Fig. 3, and the number of holes passed through is counted by an optical sensor. The feeding may be controlled to stop when a predetermined number has been counted. Furthermore, as will be described later, the rotation angle of the feed roller of the roller feed device may be measured to control the feed amount.

In FIG. 4, the short plate 1 is stored in a cassette 7, and after being sucked up by a suction cylinder 8,
It is inserted into the roller 10 by the transfer cylinder 9.
At the next moment, the short plate 1 is the roller clamp cylinder 11
The material is pressurized by the roller 10 and fed into the press punching device by rotation of the roller 10. Thereafter, the short plate 1 is clamped and fixed by the clamp cylinder 12, and press-cut by the stroke of the crank press 13, and the short plate 1 is fed one pitch at a time by the gripper cylinder 14 with each stroke. That is, crank press 1
3 is lowered and released from the press, the clamp cylinder 12 opens in that state, and in FIG. 4, the clamp cylinder 12 moves one pitch to the left by the operation of the gripper cylinder 14. After the clamp cylinder 12 closes again to clamp the short plate 1 and the crank press 13 rises, the clamp cylinder 12 moves one pitch to the right by the operation of the gripper cylinder 14, and the next press punching process is performed. In this way, the short plates 1 are fed one pitch at a time and are successively press-cut.

At this time, the number of strokes of the crank press 13 is counted for each short plate that is successively fed, and before the press stroke including the terminal edge of the preceding short plate, in other words, in the example of FIG. 1, the press of the small piece 5 is Before punching, a succeeding short plate 1' is fed in to enable straddling and punching. The feeding amount is controlled by measuring the rotation angle of the roller 10 from the time when the short plate 1' is sandwiched between the rollers 10.
In this way, when the short plate 1' is fed in a predetermined amount so that straddling can be performed, the clamp cylinder 12 clamps the short plates 1, 1', and the terminal edge of the preceding short plate 1 and the following short plate are separated. Press out the starting edge of 1' at the same time.

As described above, according to the present invention, regardless of the length of the short plate, press punching can be performed continuously without the punch being loaded on one side. Since the single load is eliminated, stable press punching can be performed, and breakage of the mold can be prevented and its life can be extended, so its industrial value is extremely great.
