As one of the methods for duplicating information record carriers,
There is a method proposed in 53-116105. In this method, as shown in Figure 1, a photocurable resin 3 (hereinafter referred to as UV resin) is applied onto a mold 1, a substrate 2 is pressed against it to spread the UV resin 3, and then exposed to light. The UV resin is then cured and peeled off from the mold 1 to obtain a duplicate disk.

However, in this method, when the UV resin 3 is spread out, the UV resin overflows from the center hole of the donut-shaped substrate. Therefore, if the resin remains in the center hole of the substrate and is allowed to harden as it is, the substrate may be damaged due to the close contact when the substrate is peeled off. Another option is to avoid exposing the center to light to prevent the UV resin from curing and then wiping it off after peeling off. However, with this method, "dust" will adhere to the disk surface when wiping it off, resulting in a high It becomes difficult to make quality duplicate discs.

まう。 Furthermore, if UV resin is present all the way to the inner circumference, the adhesive strength will be weakened when two disks are stacked and bonded together to form a sandwich structure. On the other hand, in the sandwich structure where there is an air layer between the disks, a spacer is used for this purpose.
This spacer also has weak adhesive strength.

In order to achieve the above object, the duplication device of the present invention has a means for rotating at least the mold and the substrate, and a groove is disposed approximately in the center of the surface of the mold that is in close contact with the resin, and the mold is formed from the groove. It has a diagonal hole penetrating toward the back surface of the mold (the surface opposite to the surface to which the resin adheres), and the diagonal hole is arranged diagonally so that the resin within the diagonal hole receives centrifugal force. .

By rotating the mold and substrate, excess UV resin flows into the diagonal hole through the groove provided in the mold, and is effectively discharged out of the mold by centrifugal force. Therefore, UV resin does not overflow from the center hole of the board.

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an embodiment of the present invention. UV resin 3 is applied in a circular manner onto a mold 1 having irregularities according to recorded information, and a donut plate-shaped substrate 2 is gradually lowered onto the mold 1 so that the vicinity of the inner circumference is in contact with the mold 1.
At this time, while the outer periphery of the substrate 2 is lifted higher than the upper surface of the mold by the ring 5, the inner periphery is pressed down by the ring-shaped holding jig 6.
In the bent state of the substrate 2, the inner peripheral portion comes into contact with the UV resin 3. By doing so, it is possible to prevent "foam" from being mixed in when the resin and the substrate come into contact. Thereafter, as the ring 5 is gradually lowered, the UV resin 3 is pushed and spread toward the outer periphery by the mold 1 and the substrate 2. Note that at this time, if the ring 5 is not lowered slowly, "foam" will be mixed into the resin 3.

向上を図ることができる。 The UV resin 3 that has been pushed out is spread a little not only in the outer circumferential direction of the mold but also in the inner circumferential direction, and as shown in FIG.
It is stored in Furthermore, the groove 7 has a plurality of diagonal holes 8.
is formed, and when the mold 1 and the substrate 2 are rotated as a unit, the resin accumulated in the grooves and diagonal holes is effectively discharged out of the mold by centrifugal force. At this time, it is important to be careful that if the rotational speed is too high, "foam" will occur in the resin 3 from the inner peripheral side of the substrate 2, so the rotational speed will naturally be restricted. In addition, when duplicating a plurality of disks in succession, for example, by performing the above-mentioned removal by rotation each time a disk is duplicated, the process of removing excess resin can be simplified and the productivity of the disks can be improved. Can be done.

As explained above, according to the present invention, it is possible to create a duplicate disk without excess UV resin on the inner circumferential portion, which has a remarkable effect in producing a high-quality duplicate disk.
