笛の音孔(トンホール)Aは第2図に示す如く

るが大きい径として梢外広りのテーパーに形成し
なければ型ピンを抜き取ることが出来ない。外壁
面Cの径を内壁面Bの径より大きくすると、管内
を流れる定常波を音孔Aの内壁面Bで切ることに
なり内壁面Bで音を発生するため、音を発生した
音波が外壁面Cに出るまでの間の肉厚Eの部分で
乱気流となつて清く美しいこもりのない音を発生
することが出来ない。このことはプラスチツク製
笛の宿命として深く研究されず現実に極めて微少
であるが内壁面Bの径より外壁面Cの径が大きい
音孔の笛が市販されているのが実情であり、此の
ような笛では笛独特の美しく清い音質を発生する

わだつた美しい音色を発生できないという問題点

を有し、該音孔型9中心部には内壁面12の径が
大きく外壁面13の径が小さいドーム型の音孔室
14が開設されている。この音孔室14は内周面
が膨出して内部の空間容積が実質的に拡大されて
いる形状であれば第5図のように円弧状のもので
も、また第6図のように複数の段部17を有する
ようなものであつてもよい。この音孔型9は、脚
部11を管体2の差込孔7に、また鍔10を段8
に密に嵌合して差込穴7の内壁と脚部11との間
及び段8と鍔10とのに空間部が生じないように
接着剤その他の手段により固定し、これにより音
孔装置を形成する。尚図中1は歌口、4は尾管を
