工性の良さが十分に発揮できず、また沈澱槽2′
の周囲を空間のままにしておくことは、沈澱槽
2′の強度の強化につながりコストアツプとなる。
更に周囲の空間に水を張るケースも考えられる
が、水の腐敗防止の為に水の入れ換えが必要であ
り、面倒なうえ、ランニングコストが高くつくと
いう問題があつた。

されてある。ハウジング1や沈澱槽2等は例えば
FRPで成形されてある。沈澱槽2はホツパー型
に形成されてあつて、この沈澱槽2内の中央には
オーバーフロー部5が装着されてある。なお図示
の沈澱槽2は平断面が四角形状となつているが、
丸形のものであつてもよい。沈澱槽2の底部はハ
ウジング1の底壁に密着固定してある。このよう
にハウジング1内に内蔵される沈澱槽2の側方に
仕切壁6が形成されて沈澱槽2の全周外壁面と、
ハウジング1の両内側壁面と端壁11および仕切
壁6との間に空間7が形成されてある。更にこの
空間7は中仕切壁8で仕切られて消泡ポンプ槽3
および放流ポンプ槽4が形成されてある。9はオ
ーバーフロー部5と消泡ポンプ槽3とをつなぐ連
絡管である。オーバーフロー部5から流れ込む分
離水は連絡管9から消泡ポンプ槽3に流れ込み、
更に消泡ポンプ槽3をオーバーフローして放流ポ
ンプ槽4に流れ込むものであり、最終的には放流
ポンプ10にて排水されるものである。第5図は
分離水の沈澱槽2中での流れを示してある。まず
ばつ気槽から移送管15および中央継管16を通
つて流入してくる汚水は沈澱槽2で分離し、次に
環状の邪魔板17の内周に形成される環状のオー
バーフロー部5内に分離水が越流し、然るのち連
通管9から排出されるものである。
