For example, when an inorganic insulated wire is used as a heater, there are cases where it is desired to connect a plurality of (usually two or three) conductors at their terminals so as to short-circuit them. In conventional technology, the terminal part of an inorganic insulated wire is sealed in a pot, two conductors are led out from this pot, the terminal part is housed in a junction box, and the two conductors are connected to short-circuit within this junction box. Was.
However, in this conventional technology, the sealing treatment of the terminal part of the inorganic insulated wire and the short-circuiting of the conductor are performed separately, so the workability is low and a large junction box is required, making the terminal part large and difficult to draw into the conduit etc. There was a drawback.

An object of the present invention is to provide a terminal portion of an inorganic insulated wire that can perform conductor short-circuit connection and sealing treatment within the end portion of the inorganic insulated wire to improve workability and reduce the size of the terminal portion without requiring a junction box. Our goal is to provide the following.

As shown in FIG. 1, the inorganic insulated wire 10 is first cut at its end to expose the inorganic insulator 16. Next, as shown in FIG. 2, a part of the inorganic insulator 16 is taken out from the opening 10a of the cut end, and two conductors 1 are inserted into the end portion 14a of the metal jacket.
2, 12' end portions 12a, 12'a are exposed.
Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 3, parts of the ends 12a and 12'a of the two conductors are cut off, brought into contact with each other, and welded to form a conductor connection part 14 in the end 14a of the metal jacket.
form 3. Finally, an inorganic insulator 16A made of the same material as the inorganic insulator 16 is filled into the hollow portion of the end 14a of the metal jacket through the opening 10a of the cutting end, and the end 14a of the metal jacket is filled with an inorganic insulator 16A made of the same material as the inorganic insulator 16 so that the opening 10a is closed. A sealed end portion 15 is formed by welding. (See FIG. 4).

According to the present invention, as described above, the conductor connection portion can be formed and sealed at the terminal portion of the inorganic insulated wire without using a connection box, resulting in good workability.
Furthermore, since the terminal part has the same diameter as the electric wire, there is no need to increase the size of the terminal part, which has the practical benefit of making it easier to draw in.
