That is, hydraulic pressure is introduced into the cylinder, the piston is lowered, and the rivet is strongly pressed by the attachment attached to the lower end of the piston. The rivet is guided to the call-out hole of the pedestal provided opposite to this, and the steel plate is perforated. After that, the hydraulic pressure is released and the piston is raised again, the pedestal is displaced so that its flat part faces the rivet, and then the piston is lowered again to perform caulking.

However, in such conventional examples,
Between the rivet calling process and the caulking process, it is necessary to displace the calling hole in the pedestal, which complicates the structure and requires a lot of consideration in maintenance and management.

In a rivet caulking machine having a piston that moves up and down and a pedestal through which an outlet hole is disposed opposite to the pedestal, the pedestal is elastically supported and a spindle is slidably passed through the outlet hole of the pedestal,
The lower end of the spindle is brought into contact with a cylindrical member that is elastically supported, moves up and down within a certain range, and has an upper end surface inclined inwardly, and is slidable therewith within the cylindrical member and allows the spindle to slide. Fixing a ring member whose upper end face is sloped downwardly outward,
Furthermore, a ball is interposed between the lower end surface of the pedestal and the upper end surface of the ring member.

Further, one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Reference numeral 1 is a vertical cylinder having an oil hole 2 at the top, and the oil hole 2 is a solenoid valve that is opened and closed by operating a switch 3. (not shown) to a hot water supply source. A piston 4 is disposed within the vertical cylinder 1 so as to be movable up and down, and an attachment 7 having a recess 6 for engaging the head of a rivet 5 is attached to the lower end of the piston 4.

A C-shaped bent arm 8 is integrally connected to the lower part of the cylinder 1, and an outer frame member 9 is connected to the lower end of the bent arm 8, and the outer frame member 9 faces the attachment 7 within the outer frame member 9. A pedestal 11 in which an ejection hole 10 is bored is elastically supported by a spring 12 and held by a tightening screw 13 so as not to slip out to the outside. 1
4 is slidably penetrated. Also, inside the outer frame member 9 is a cylindrical member 15 whose upper end surface is sloped low inward.
is elastically supported by a spring 16 so as to move up and down within a certain range, and this cylindrical member 15
The lower end of the spindle 14 is brought into contact with the cylindrical member 15, and the piston 1 is slidably disposed within the cylindrical member 15.
A ring member 17, which slidably passes through the ring member 4 and whose upper end surface is sloped outwardly, is fixedly provided.

The cylindrical member 15 may include, for example, a recess 18 into which the ring member 17 is inserted, as shown in the fifth illustrated example.
and a surface 19 that comes into contact with the lower end of the spindle 14, and a recess 20 that accommodates the spring 16 in the lower part, and a plurality of through holes 21 on the outer periphery of the recess 20.
It is preferable to install the ring member 17 vertically, and to insert a bar member 22 that fixedly supports the ring member 17 so that a part of the cross section of the through hole 21 communicates with the recess 19.

Next, to explain its function, the material to be caulked, for example, the angle material 24 and the iron plate 25 are stacked together,
Angle material 2 with pre-drilled rivets 5
When the piston 4 is inserted into the hole 4 and opposed to the recess 6 of the attachment 7, and the switch 3 is operated, a solenoid valve is activated and the attachment 7 is lowered as the piston 4 is lowered, pressing the rivet 5 and pressing the iron plate 24 strongly. However, the pedestal 11 is made up of a ball 23 and a bar 2.
Although the spindle 14 is prevented from descending by the ring member 17 fixedly supported by the spindle 2, the rivet 5 pierces the iron plate 25 and is in the state shown in the third figure. Further pressure is applied and the rivet 5 is lowered, and the cylindrical member 15 as well as the spindle 14 is lowered against the elasticity of the spring 16, and the ball 23 is guided by the slope of the upper end surface of the ring member 17 and moves to the outside of the upper end surface of the cylindrical member 15. The pedestal 11 is lowered, but as shown in the fourth figure, the pedestal 11 comes into contact with the ring member 17, and the ring member 1
7 is fixedly supported by a bar 22 or the like, so that the pedestal 17 does not fall below it, and the spindle 14 is also fixed at the lowest position of the cylindrical member 15.
The state as shown in the fourth figure is reached, and the rivet 5 is crushed and caulked by the upper end of the spindle 14.

When the rivet has been caulked in this manner, the attachment 7 is raised by operating the switch 3 along with the rise of the piston 4, and the angle member 24 is raised.
The iron plate 25 is also separated, and the pedestal 11 and the cylindrical member 15 are separated.
is pushed up by elasticity, and the ball 23 is guided by the slope of the upper end surface of the cylindrical member 15 and moves inward.
It automatically returns to the state before caulking as shown in the second figure.

As described above, according to the present invention, due to the extremely simple structure, the crimping process can be carried out in a single operation without requiring any displacement of the pedestal, and the crimping process can be performed continuously. It is possible to return to the previous state, and has extremely beneficial effects such as ease of operation and greatly contributing to improving productivity.
