Description
【発明の詳細な説明】
この発明は、板状の金属材料を細巾にスリツト
加工した条材から切断加工または打ち抜きプレス
加工により形成される接触部材の製造方法に関す
るもので、条材に残留するスリツト加工の加工歪
による変形を抑制することを目的としたものであ

一般に、コネクター部品などに使用される条材
は15〜30mm巾のものが多く、これをプレス加工に
より打ち抜き成形したものを接触部材として使用
している。第1図に示すように、条材10をプレ
ス加工により、くしの歯状の形状とすると、打ち
抜き後の材料形状は、第2図のように、条材とす
るときのスリツト加工による歪のために曲がりと
起き上がりを生じ易く、プレス加工上支障が大き

実施例 1
第3図のように、スリツト加工(接触部材の原
材料である板材を回転カツタなどにより細い巾の
条材に裁断する加工)された条材10の裁断によ
る加工歪が残つている端縁の角部10aをバイト
により切削加工し、これを条材10の長手方向に

実施例 2
第3図と同様の切削加工(面取り加工)を施し
た後、半円形の皮ムキダイスを用いて連続的にス
リツト加工端縁部10bを第4図に示すような滑
らかな状態に仕上げ、条材10bの長手方向に切

尚、面取り加工された端縁部10bが先端とな
るように切断加工して、第5図に示すように、コ
ネクタ3の雌ピン5に係合する雄ピン4として使
用すれば、挿入および引抜き時の抵抗が少なくな

したものでは、スリツト加工により起因する曲が
りや起き上がりを生ずることなく、プレス加工を

以上のように、スリツト加工した条材の端縁部
を面取り加工し、その後この条材を切断加工また
は打抜きプレス加工したことにより、条材のスリ
ツト加工による歪は除去され、条材の曲がりや起
き上がりなどをなくして加工が容易に行なえるよ

尚、コネクタなどでは接触低抗を少なくするた

ある。第3図から第6図は本発明の実施例を説明
するための図であり、第3図は切削加工により仕
上げられた面取り加工条材の概略斜視図、第4図
は切削加工の後皮ムキダイスを使用して仕上げら
れた面取り加工条材の概略斜視図、第5図は加工
された条材を雄雌ピン式コネクタの雄ピンに使用
した例を示す断面図、第6図は両端縁部を面取り
加工した条材を示す斜視図である。
図中の同一符合は同一あるいは相当部分を示し
ており、10は条材、10aは条材の面取り加工
部である。
