Conventionally, in order to obtain a cable socket with high fatigue strength, the shape of the wire in the socket was made to have a large bending radius, and the wire spacing was kept constant, and the socket entrance (small diameter part) was Epoxy resin is cast in the front part near the socket, and zinc-copper alloy is cast in the rear part inside the socket to attach the socket to the cable. The cable shaping method when performing this socket processing is as follows: (1) Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 56-67004
As disclosed in the publication, two wire arrangement plates with a large number of through holes for holding each wire of the cable in a predetermined position are arranged in parallel with a distance between them. (2) A method of holding each wire in a predetermined shape by sequentially inserting it through two wire arrangement plates, (2) a partition plate that partitions the wires that make up the cable into layers, and a clamp that holds the outer diameter of the cable. , a method is known in which wires are placed at two locations spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the cable end and each wire is held in a predetermined shape.

The purpose of this invention is to provide a method for shaping a cable at the time of attaching a socket to a cable, which can advantageously solve the above-mentioned problems. When attaching a socket to the end of a large cable, hold the cable 1 near the part to be inserted into the socket 2 with the cable binding wire 3, and attach a pipe 5 to the end of each wire 4 constituting the cable 1. A cable socket characterized in that the ends of each wire 4 are held at a predetermined interval by tightening each pipe 5 into contact with each other by a pipe tightening machine 6 that surrounds each pipe 5 on the outer periphery. This is in the cable shaping method during attachment processing.

When carrying out this invention to shape the wires (strands) at the end of a cable, first, as shown in FIG. is held by a binding wire 3 made of iron wire, and then a steel or synthetic resin pipe 5 with a length of about 200 mm is inserted into the end of each wire 4 constituting the cable 1, and then a circular holding member is inserted. 8, a large number of hydraulic cylinders 9 fixed at intervals around the pipe tightening machine 6, and an arc-shaped tightening piece 10 attached to the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinders 9. Arranged to surround each pipe 5,
Each hydraulic cylinder 9 in the tightening machine 6 tightens each pipe 5 on the outer periphery via each tightening piece 10, so that adjacent pipes 5 in all the pipes 5 are brought into tightened contact with each other, and each wire 4 is tightened. The wires 4 are sprayed from the cable binding iron wire 3 toward the ends without twisting, and the ends of the wires 4 are held at a predetermined interval through the pipe 5, and the bending rigidity of the pipe 5 allows each wire 4 to be Hold the bent shape in a predetermined shape.

The inner diameter of the pipe 5 is set to be 0.5 to 1.0 mm larger than the diameter of the wire 4, and the outer diameter of the pipe 5 is set such that the distance between the wires is maintained at a predetermined value at the rear end (large diameter end) of the socket 2. Set it so that it hangs.

Next, the socket 2, which has been inserted into the cable 1 in advance, is moved toward the pipe fixing clamp 12 and placed between the cable binding iron wire 3 and the pipe fixing clamp 12, as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG.
After casting, the pipe fixing clamp 12 is

According to this invention, a portion of the cable 1 near the portion to be inserted into the socket 2 is gripped by the cable binding wire 3, and the pipe 5 is inserted into the end of each wire 4 constituting the cable 1, and then By an extremely simple means of tightening and contacting each pipe 5 with a pipe tightening machine 6 surrounding each pipe 5 on the outer periphery, the ends of each wire 4 constituting the cable 1 are held at a predetermined interval, and each The wire 4 can be held in a predetermined bent shape, so the cable can be shaped easily and quickly with little effort.
This provides the advantage of being able to perform processing with a socket.
