However, since the conventional mounting method of the molding 20 described above requires a welding process performed from the back side of the lens 1, this molding 20 is installed at a relatively early stage of the lamp assembly process, that is, when the lens 1 is attached to the lamp body.
It is necessary to install the product at a stage before attaching it to the 0, which causes problems such as scratches and poor appearance in subsequent processes.
This problem is a very serious problem since the molding 20 is used exclusively for decoration. In addition, in recent years, automobile designs have become more sophisticated, and moldings of this type are often matched to the car body paint color. Since the colors cannot be predicted, production plans cannot be made and a proportion of each color must be produced according to orders, making production management complicated and requiring long delivery times, which also poses problems in production. It was something that caused In addition, in this way, the boss 2 is directly attached to the molding surface 20b.
The provision of the molding 20 caused uneven wall thickness, and sink marks were generated on the molding surface 20b during molding, resulting in a problem that the quality of the molding 20 itself was poor.

The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and as a specific means for solving the problems, a vehicle is provided in which a lens is provided with a recessed part and a molding is attached to the recessed part. In the lamp, the molding is formed to have at least two sides, one side is provided with an intermediate hook serving as a mounting part, and main hook parts are formed at both longitudinal ends of the molding. A vehicle lamp, characterized in that the concave portion of the lens and the mounting portion of the molding are fitted together, and the main hook portion is fitted to a hook receiving portion provided at an appropriate position such as the lamp body of the lamp. By providing a molding mounting method, the molding itself can be made beautiful without sink marks, and at the same time,
This molding can be attached in the final process to solve the problems of the conventional method.

Next, the present invention will be explained in detail based on an embodiment shown in the drawings. In order to facilitate understanding, parts that are the same as those in the conventional example will be described with the same reference numerals, and descriptions of some overlapping parts will be omitted. What is indicated by the reference numeral 2 in FIG. 1 is a molding according to the present invention, and this molding 2 has a recess 1a and a mounting hole 1b provided in the lens 1, as shown in a cross-sectional view in FIG.
It is similar to the conventional example in that it is formed so as to fit into it, but it has a shape that forms at least two sides, such as a U-shape, with one side being the molding surface 2b and the other side being the molding surface 2b. One side has the conventional boss 2
An intermediate hook 2c is provided instead of 0a to serve as a mounting surface 2b, and main hook portions 2d (only one of which is shown in the figure) are provided at both ends of the molding 2 in the longitudinal direction. Here, this mall 2
To explain the details in more detail, the intermediate hook 2c is connected to the lens 1 as shown in FIG.
It has the shape of a hook that is inserted and fixed by force into the mounting hole 1b provided in the recess 1a of the recess 1a. It is also good to have a shape such as. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the main hook portion 2d is engaged with a hook receiving portion 3a provided at an appropriate position such as the lamp body 3 by simply pressing it into the hook receiving portion 3a, and this engagement This can be done even after the lens 1 is adhered to the lamp body 3. By forming the molding 2 in this way, as explained above, when attaching the molding 2, the conventional process of welding from the back of the lens can be eliminated and the molding 2 can be attached only by crimping.
This enables installation in the final step of the assembly process as a vehicle lamp, such as the process of bonding the light body 3 to the lamp body 3. In addition, the molding 2 is connected to the molding surface 2a and the mounting surface 2.
The separation into b and b naturally prevents the occurrence of sink marks due to the provision of intermediate hooks on the side of the molding surface that determines the appearance, resulting in a beautiful molding surface. The one shown in FIG. 6 is another embodiment of the present invention, and since the molding 2 of the present invention is provided with a mounting surface 2b, it comes into surface contact with the lens 1. It is possible to sandwich a gasket 5 formed of a foamed rubber material or the like, and by sandwiching this gasket, for example, it is possible to prevent chattering caused by slight play that may occur between the lens 1 and the molding 2. This embodiment has the effect of preventing abnormal noises such as the above, and has a preferable effect. Incidentally, the reference numeral 4 in each of the drawings described above is the body of a vehicle to which this vehicle lamp is attached, as in the conventional example.

As explained above, the present invention provides a method for attaching a molding to a vehicle lamp, in which the molding is formed to have at least two sides, one side is provided with an intermediate hook as a mounting part, and the other side is provided with an intermediate hook. By forming the molding surface, it is possible to provide a beautiful molding by making the molding surface side uniform in thickness and eliminating sink marks on the surface. A main hook portion is formed, and the concave portion of the lens and the mounting portion of the molding are fitted together via a gasket, and the main hook portion is formed with a hook receiving portion provided at an appropriate position such as the lamp body of the lamp. By making it fit, the molding can be attached by crimping the molding in the final step of the assembly process of the vehicle lamp, which is advantageous in that it eliminates scratches and other defects during the process and eliminates appearance defects. At the same time, even when the production quantity for each color is not determined in advance, such as when installing moldings for car body paint colors, the assembly of the light fixture can be completed before the molding installation process.
It is sufficient to attach a molding of a desired color according to the order and ship the product, which also has the excellent effect of facilitating process control.
