In general, lighting inside a vehicle includes, for example, an instrument panel,
In addition to partial lighting that illuminates a portion of each control, heater, air conditioner, etc., there is general lighting that illuminates the entire vehicle interior, such as a room lamp. In particular, when driving at night, lighting effects play an important role in creating a luxurious atmosphere inside the vehicle, so partial illumination of instrument panels and the like is provided with a lighting function as well as a decorative lighting function. On the other hand, room lamps that provided overall illumination had no decorative lighting function as they were not used while the vehicle was in motion.

By the way, the molded ceiling to which the room lamp is attached is made by laminating the skin material, part material, and base material in that order and molding this into a single piece. It was tied together with the lamp. However, due to the large ceiling area, conventional measures have been taken to provide stiffness by using reinforcing members such as rain hoses.

In order to achieve this object, in this invention, between the base material and the skin material constituting the ceiling material,
A transparent or semi-transparent light guiding member is embedded in a band shape, and a large number of holes are provided at least through the skin material facing the light guiding member, and a cut surface is formed in a part of the light guiding member, and the cut surface is formed in a part of the light guiding member. The gist is that light sources that allow light to enter the surface are provided facing each other.

Hereinafter, one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the figure, 1 is a molded ceiling installed inside the roof panel 3, with a skin material 5 made of a vinyl sheet, fabric, non-woven fabric, etc., a pad material 7 made of foamed polyethylene, and a base material made of glass woven fibers and molded paper. 9 are laminated in that order, and this is used as a material to form along the three surfaces of the roof panel. Note that the base material 9 may be formed to also serve as the pad material 7.

Although not shown in the figure, the periphery of the molded ceiling 1 is held down by a garnish and body side welts 11, and the approximately central portion is covered by the room lamp 1.
It is fastened together with 3 to the vehicle body panel. On the other hand, the base material 9 constituting the ceiling material of the molded ceiling 1
Two light guide members 15, 15 extending in the vehicle width direction are embedded between the surface material 5 and the surface material 5. The light guide member 15 is made of transparent or semi-transparent acrylic or
It is made of ABS material and has the function of allowing light to pass through. The light guide member 15 is provided with an embossment 17 in the vehicle width direction on the base material 9.
It is buried within 7. Light guide member 1 of this example
5, a skin material 5, a pad material 7, and a base material 9 are laminated in that order and are simultaneously press-molded when forming the molded ceiling 1 as a raw material. During this molding, tapes 19 are interposed along the longitudinal direction on both side edges of the light guide member 15 to prevent the light guide member 15 from shifting from the base material 9 and appearing on the skin material 5 side. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the light guide member 15 is provided with a through hole 40 and a cut surface 21 of about 45 degrees. In this example, the cut surfaces 21 are provided on both sides (one side is not shown), and white coatings 23 and 25 are applied to the front surface side of the light guide member 15 and the upper surface side facing the base material 9. This provides a structure that allows light to be easily reflected. Cut side 2
The mounting hole 2 of the housing 27 is located above and opposite to the mounting hole 2 of the housing 27.
A light source 29 (bulb) fitted and supported by 7a is disposed. The light source 29 and the cut surface 21 are set so that the light from the light source 29 enters the cut surface 21 at an angle of approximately 45 degrees. The housing 27 has clamping parts 31, 31 provided at the lower part.
are fixed together by sandwiching the light guide member 15 from the left and right sides. A large number of holes 33 passing through the pad material 7 are provided on the lower surface side of the light guide member 15 and on the skin material 5 side. When the skin material 5 is a vinyl sheet, the holes 33 are 1φ or 2φ, and when the skin material 5 is a nonwoven fabric, the openings are made coarse so that the gaps between the fibers form the holes. Although the holes 33 are provided over the entire surface of the skin material 5 in this embodiment, they may be provided only in the portion facing the light guide member 15. It should be noted that if the holes are provided over the entire surface, there is an advantage that the holes have a sound absorbing effect in the room except for the portion facing the light guide member. In addition, when holes are provided in the portion facing the light guide member, the main purpose is to provide a lighting effect. In addition, in FIG. 7, 35 indicates a front pillar, 37 a center pillar, and 39 a rear pillar.

As explained above, according to the present invention, since the light guide member is embedded in a band shape between the base material and the skin material, light leaks through the many holes provided on the skin material side. The ceiling surface is illuminated in a band-like manner, improving the appearance. In particular, it has the effect of making the interior of the vehicle more luxurious at night, and since the light guiding member serves as a reinforcing member for the molded ceiling, it is advantageous against vibrations, thermal deformation, stickiness, etc.

In this embodiment, the light sources are provided at two locations on the left and right, but the number may be increased as necessary. Also,
Although the light guide member is provided in the vehicle width direction, it may be provided in the front-rear direction.
