紙に融着させることにより定着を行つている。

は、オフセツト防止液8が貯溜されたオイルパン
7と、同オイルパン7内に基端側を浸潰され、先
端部が加熱ローラ2の表面に当接されたオフセツ
ト防止液供給部材(例えば、フエルト製)9と、
オイルパン7に固定された支持部材に支持された
オフセツト防止液塗布量調整ブレード(以下、単
に塗布量調整ブレードと称する)11とで構成さ
れている。オフセツト防止液8は、オフセツト防
止液供給部材9で吸い上げられ、同供給部材9の
先端部で加熱ローラ2の表面に塗布されるが、余
分に塗布されたオフセツト防止液8は、加熱ロー
ラ2の回転方向前方に位置する塗布量調整ブレー

調整ブレード21の裏面と加熱ローラ2とで画成
される間隙部に回り込んで(8b)、加熱ローラ
2の回転に伴つて、加圧ローラ3との接触側へ移
行する。この様に、塗布量調整ブレード21で
は、V溝Gから突起22を越えて流出したオフセ
ツト防止液は、加熱ローラ2の軸端側に移行して
付着すること無く、側辺21bに沿つて軸方向中
央寄りに流れて付着するので、加熱ローラ2が一
回転した時、突起22の先端縁22a乃至ブレー
ド本体の先端21aで掻き取られる。したがつ
て、多量のオフセツト防止液が、加熱ローラ2の
両側端部表面に付着するという現象は防止され、
オフセツト防止液の滴下によつて複写機内が汚染
されることは無い。

て、同ブレード先端両側から流出したオフセツト
防止液は、同ブレード両側辺に沿つて、軸方向中
央寄りに流下する。したがつて、オフセツト防止
液が塗布量調整ブレードの外方に於ける軸端側定
着ローラ表面に付着することは無く、複写機内へ
の滴下現象も生じ難い。このように、本発明で
は、塗布量調整ブレードの簡単な形状変更で、顕
著な作用効果を奏し得る。

端縁が、前記定着ローラ表面に対して所定の傾斜
角で当接させられていることを特徴とする接触ロ
ーラ方定着装置。
