Description
本発明は、検査を受ける者の腕に巻装して使用
される血圧計のカフ帯に関する。

イに装着できるようにしたものが従来より用いら
れている。しかしながら、この従来のカフ帯にあ
つては、湾曲板1′の形状が腕の径の太い人や細
い人などの全ての人にフイツトせず、特に腕の太
い人の場合には第12図に示すように湾曲板1′
の端が腕イに食い込んで腕イに痛感を与えるとい
う欠点があつた。
この理由は、湾曲板1′は第10図に示すよう
に全体に亘つて幅B′及び肉厚t′が一定であり、湾
曲板1′の各断面で剛性EIが一定になつているた
めである。湾曲板1′が広げられると、湾曲板
1′には曲げモーメントが発生するが、このとき
の曲げモーメントの分布は湾曲板1′の湾曲方向
両端では0であり、中央部で最大となつている。
そして、曲げモーメントMを受けた時の材軸から
の変位曲線の曲率κは
κ=M/EI(EI:剛性)
で決定されるので、湾曲板1′が外力を受けた時、
湾曲板1′の中央部では曲げ変形が大きく、両端
ではほとんど曲げ変形は生じず、このため湾曲板
1′が広げられると、第11図のように湾曲板

円形に広がらず両端で大きく湾曲したままにな
り、腕の太い人の場合には湾曲板1′の端部が腕

本発明血圧計のカフ帯は、可撓性部材により湾
曲した形状に形成された湾曲板1を内蔵していて
腕に巻装できるようになつた血圧計のカフ帯にお
いて、前記湾曲板1を湾曲方向両端部より中央部
に向かつて徐々に剛性が大きくなるように形成し
て成ることを特徴とするものであり、力が加わつ
た時に発生する曲げモーメントの分布と湾曲板1
の剛性の分布とが略比例することになるので、湾
曲板1を広げたときにも変形が湾曲方向の全長に
亘つてほぼ均一となるのである。
以下本発明の実施例を添付図に基いて詳述す
る。湾曲板1はポリプロピレン等の可撓性を有す
る合成樹脂材で形成されており、円筒を母線に沿
つて切開したような湾曲形状をしている。この湾
曲板1は、湾曲方向両端部から中央部へ向けて
徐々に肉厚が厚くなるようにして徐々に剛性が大
きくなるように形成されており、中央部で肉厚及
び剛性が最大となつている。即ち、第1図に示す
ように各部の肉厚がt1>t2>t3となつている。従
つて、外力を受けた時に最も大きな曲げモーメン
トの発生する中央部で剛性(もしくは断面二次モ
ーメント)が最大となり、湾曲板1全体の曲率を
ほぼ一定に保つことができ、第2図に示すように
細い腕に装着してあまり広げられていない場合に
も、第3図に示すように太い腕に密着して大きく
広げられている場合にも、湾曲板1の湾曲方向に
沿つての曲率がほぼ一様となり、いずれの場合に
も奇麗な円弧状に広がるのである。
上記湾曲板1は、腕に巻くための第4図のよう
なカフ帯A内に内蔵されている。即ち、第5図に
示すように、湾曲板1の外周面側は外布2により
覆われており、湾曲板1の内周面に沿つては空気
を送り込まれて膨張する阻血カフ3が配置され、
阻血カフ3の内周面側は内布4により覆われてお
り、阻血カフ3と内布4との間に設けられたセン
サーポケツト5にはコロトコフ音センサー6が収
納されている。更に、阻血カフ3に設けられたポ
ンプノズル7に接続されたエア管8とコロトコフ
音センサー6に接続されたセンサーコード9の先
には血圧計本体10と接続するためのプラグ11
を設けてある。しかして、カフ帯Aを腕に巻装す
る場合には、まず湾曲板1の弾性を利用して腕に
仮巻き止めし、その後外布2の端と内布4の端部
とに設けられた面状フアスナー12,12により
カフ帯Aを腕に締着するのである。
第6図に示すものは本発明の他例であり、湾曲
板1の外周面に複数個の結合用フツク13を一体
に形成し、この結合用フツク13を外布2のフツ
ク挿通孔14を通してカフ帯Aの外面に突出させ
たものであり、この結合用フツク13を血圧計本
体10に係合させて第7図に示すようにカフ帯A
に血圧計本体10を取り付けられるようにしたも
のである。なお、阻血カフ3にエアを送気した時
にエアの圧力で外布2が伸び、フツク挿通孔14
がフツク13に引つ張られて破れることを防止す
るため、外布2の内面に補強布15をラミネート
してある。
第8図に示すものは本発明の更に他例であり、
湾曲板1の湾曲方向と直交する方向の幅を湾曲方
向の両端部から中央部へ向けて徐々に広くなるよ
うにしたものであり、第8図bに示すようにB1
<B2となつている。この実施例では、幅を変化
させることにより、中央部で剛性(断面二次モー
メント)を最大となるようにしてある。
第9図に示すものは本発明の更に他例であり、
第8図に示した湾曲板1において、更に幅方向の
中央にスリツト溝16を切入したもので、スリツ
ト溝16の幅を開口端側で広くなるようにしてあ
り、B1<B2となつている。

した場合にも細い腕に巻装した場合にもカフ帯が
滑らかにフイツトして装着感が優れているという
