ンテストライン、及びエンジン出荷ラインと続く
エンジン搬送ラインでのエンジン搬送方法に関す

材を取付けておき、この接続部材に一端を保持さ
れている各種配管等をエンジンテストラインに入
る前にエンジンの所定位置に接続し、テストベン
チでは前記パレツト上の接続部材にテストベンチ
側の各種配管等を自動的に接続するように構成し
ていた。換言すれば、エンジンテストラインに於
けるエンジンの搬送には、前記各種配管等の接続
部材を備えたエンジンテストライン専用のパレツ
トを使用していた。このような従来の方式では、
一般的な搬送用パレツトに支持されているエンジ
ンをテストラインの手前で前記エンジンテストラ
イン専用パレツトに移載し、エンジンテスト完了
後にエンジンを再び一般的な搬送用パレツトに移
載し直して出荷ラインに送り込む必要があつた。
従つて、エンジン移載のための手段をエンジンテ
ストラインの前後に設置しなければならず、設備

ン10a,10bが突設されている。前記各配管
6〜9の遊端にはエンジン2側の配管接続部に対
して着脱自在のコネクター6b〜9bが取付けら

配管等接続部材をパレツトから取り外した状態で
同一パレツトによりエンジンを支持搬送すること
を特徴とする方法であるから、係る本発明方法に
よれば、エンジンテストライン前後のエンジン搬
送ラインと前記エンジンテストラインとの間で従
来のように、搬送用パレツトとエンジンテストラ
イン専用パレツトとの間のエンジン移載を行う必
要がなくなり、同一のパレツトにエンジンを支持
させたままでエンジンテストラインを含む搬送ラ
インに於てエンジンを搬送し且つ所要のエンジン
