[Prior art and its problems] Conventionally, cut pile fabrics that are mainly used on the pile surface and are suitable for use as blankets, etc.
The yarn used for the pile is a double yarn or a composite yarn with entwined filaments, etc., and cut pile fabrics that use pure spun single yarn as the pile yarn have never existed. The reason for this is that when ordinary spun single yarns are used as pile yarns in knitting using the existing double lattice machine dedicated to cut piles, adjacent yarns get entangled with each other near the knitting needles, resulting in yarn breakage, as will be explained later. This is because it will be completely impossible to organize the earth.

In other words, the knitting of the above cut pile fabric is as follows:
This machine mainly uses a double ratchet machine exclusively for cut piles with the structure shown in Fig. 1, in which 1 and 2 are knitting needles on the front and rear needle beds, 3 and 3 are trick plates on the front and rear needle beds, and 4 and 4 are on the front side and knitting needles. Stitch comb on the back side, L1 and L2 are the insertion thread reed and chain thread reed on the front side, L3 is the pile thread reed, L
4.L5 shows the chain thread reed and insertion thread reed on the back side,
The reeds L1, L2 and L4, L5 guide the inserted thread and chain thread to the front and rear needle beds, respectively, to form a ground texture on both the front and back sides, and the reed L in the center
3, the pile yarn is guided to the front and rear needle beds, and the pile yarn is wrapped around the knitting needles 1 and 2 to knit. The pile yarn is cut at the center between the front and back fabrics thus knitted, and then knitted. Later, the cut pile surface is raised to make a blanket or the like.

However, when considering the mechanism of yarn breakage when using spun single yarn in the above knitting, it is found that the pile yarn extends from the needle head to the top through the reed and guide, and the movement of the reed (wrapping movement) The pile yarn is passed over the front and rear knitting needles, and at this time rotation is imparted to the pile yarn above the knitting needles. Moreover, pile yarns are usually arranged at intervals of 2/12" to 2/20", but if the pile yarn is spun yarn, fluff comes out from the yarn, so adjacent yarns always have fluff. They are in contact. Therefore, it is thought that when each thread rotates due to the above-mentioned wrapping action, the fluff of the threads is rolled into each other, causing the threads to be pulled together, resulting in thread breakage. Therefore, such a phenomenon does not occur with filament yarns without fluff. In addition, the problem of yarn breakage does not occur with spun twin yarns, which are currently commonly used as pile yarns, because spun twin yarns require a large torque for twisting and untwisting.
The propagation of the twist associated with the wrapping movement of the reed is very small, making it difficult for the yarn to rotate. Therefore, even if adjacent yarns touch each other, the yarn does not rotate and no yarn breakage occurs due to the phenomenon of fuzz entrainment. It is.

On the other hand, when a Z-twisted single yarn, which is currently commonly used as a spun single yarn, is used as a pile yarn, yarn breakage is likely to occur due to the phenomenon of fluff being caught in relation to the wrapping direction.

That is, for example, in knitting a pile fabric as shown in the organizational chart of FIG. 2, the reed L3 of the pile yarn is
As shown in FIG. 3, the knitting is performed by wrapping the knitting needles of the front and back needle rows F and B in the order of →→→. At this time, even if twisting occurs in the untwisting direction of the S twist on the Z-twist single yarn due to the rotation associated with the wrapping action in the knitting needles on the back side, the twist propagation force at this time is small, and the pile When the yarn reed swings back, the yarn tension remains strong due to the relationship with the pile yarn supply position, and the yarn tension remains strong before overlapping and shifts to the front swing, so even if the fluffs touch each other, the fluffs become entangled with each other. becomes very small.
In addition, at point b, the swing is performed in a straight line, so the thread does not become loose, and at point d, the longest stroke is moved in the same time, so tension is applied to the thread, and adjacent threads do not pull together. do not have. However, in the knitting needles on the front side, the wrapping direction is clockwise, so the rotation accompanying the wrapping action causes a Z twist, that is, a twist in the twisting direction, to the Z-twisted single yarn, and therefore, the fluffs are mutually twisted. When the degree of entanglement increases and at the same time the thread tension decreases, overlapping occurs and the threads loosen slightly at points a and c, causing the fluff to become entangled, resulting in adjacent threads being pulled together violently and becoming entangled. , this is the cause of thread breakage.

Therefore, the pile yarns of this type of cut pile fabric are actually spun double yarns, which are considerably more expensive than single yarns, resulting in extremely high costs. Therefore, it is a common desire of those involved in the production of cut pile fabrics of this type to be able to use ordinary spun single yarns in order to reduce costs.

In view of the above, the present invention was developed as a result of extensive research and consideration, with the aim of making it possible to use relatively inexpensive spun single yarn as the pile yarn for gut pile fabric knitted by a double lattice machine. Yarn breakage of single yarns is related to the twisting direction of the yarn and the wrapping direction with respect to the knitting needles. If S-twist single yarns are knitted so as to wrap clockwise with respect to the net needles, yarn breakage, etc. will occur. The present invention was made based on this knowledge.

[Means for Solving the Problems] That is, in the present invention, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, pile yarns made of spun single yarns are sequentially wrapped around the knitting needles of the front and rear needle beds using a double lattice machine to separate the front and rear fabrics. When knitting together with the fabric, S-twist spun single yarn is used as the pile yarn, and the knitting fabric is knitted in such a way that the wrapping direction with respect to the knitting needles on the front needle bed is clockwise.

[Function] According to the knitting method of the present invention as described above, since the S-twist spun single yarn is used as the pile yarn and wrapped in the clockwise direction with respect to the knitting needles on the front needle bed, the knitting method on the front side knitting needles The rotation imparted with the wrapping action in the clockwise direction causes the S-twist single yarn to twist in the Z-twist direction, that is, in the untwisting direction, and the twist propagation force in the yarn is small. Even if the fluffs of adjacent yarns touch each other, the force of the yarns wrapping around each other's fluffs is small, so even if the tension of the yarns loosens during this wrapping action, the two adjacent yarns will continue to pull together. The extent of this will be very small and no thread breakage will occur.

In addition, in the knitting needle part on the back side, due to rotation due to the wrapping action in the counterclockwise direction, the S-twist spun single yarn, which is the pile yarn, is twisted in the twisting direction, which increases the propagation force of the twist in the yarn and the fluff. Even if the degree of entanglement becomes large, overlapping occurs while the yarn tension is still applied due to the back swing, and the movement of the pile reed from the back side to the front side knitting needle part becomes a linear swing, or Since the moving distance is long and fast, and the tension of the threads does not loosen, the degree of entanglement of adjacent threads due to fluff is extremely small, and therefore no thread breakage occurs.

In the knitting structure of FIG. 2, which shows an exploded wrapping movement of the front side insertion yarn reed L1, chain yarn reed L2, pile yarn reed L3, and the back side chain yarn reed L4 and insertion yarn reed L5, as the pile yarn P. Using S-twist spun single yarn with a twist coefficient of 45 to 90, preferably 60 to 70, with a single yarn of size 10 to 16, wrapping is done in the clockwise direction relative to the front knitting needle using a double latssel machine exclusively for cut piles, as in the past. If the S-twist spun single yarn is used as the pile yarn and knitted in the clockwise wrapping direction with respect to the front knitting needles as described above, the wrapping direction of the front knitting needles and knitting needles in Fig. 3 will be clockwise. The rotation applied along with the wrapping action in the direction causes the S-twist single yarn to twist in the Z-twist direction, that is, in the untwisting direction, and because the twist propagation force in the yarn is small, the Even if the fluffs are in contact with each other, the force with which each yarn wraps around the fluff is small, so even if the tension in the yarns is loosened at points a and c due to the wrapping action, the degree to which the two yarns are pulled together is very small. This prevents thread breakage.

In addition, at the knitting needles on the back side, the rotation imparted by the wrapping action in the counterclockwise direction that rotates these knitting needles causes the S-twist spun single yarn, which is a pile yarn, to become S-twisted or twisted. A twist in the direction occurs. As a result, the twist propagation force in the yarn and the degree of entanglement and entrainment of fluff increase, but overlapping occurs where the yarn tension becomes strong, and the swing of the pile reed from knitting needle part to knitting needle part is linear. Since the tension of the threads does not loosen, the extent to which adjacent threads are pulled together at point b is extremely small. Also, the moving distance of the underwrapping in ~d is approximately twice that of ~a and ~c, and the distance between them is a
Since the yarn moves in the same time as and c, the speed of the yarn is doubled. Therefore, the tension of the yarn does not loosen, and the knitting needle reaches the part between the knitting needles where there is no room for adjacent yarns to pull together, so at point d, the yarn becomes fluffy. The degree of entanglement of adjacent threads due to this is extremely reduced. Therefore, knitting can be carried out without fear of yarn breakage. Then, the pile yarn is cut at the center between the front and back fabrics thus knitted, and the cut pile surface is raised as necessary to obtain a product such as a blanket.

Also, in the same manner as above, use S-twist spun single yarn as the pile yarn, and set the wrapping direction clockwise with respect to the front knitting needles, so that the pile yarn is attached to each knitting needle over three stitches each in the front and back. A cut pile fabric having the knitting structure shown in FIG. 4, which was wrapped in sequence, was knitted using a double lattice machine.

In this case, the wrapping movement of the reed L3 of the pile yarn is performed in the order shown in Fig. 5, but in the same way as above, the front side knitting needle portion rotates against the S-twist single yarn by the wrapping action. Since twisting occurs in the untwisting direction of Z-twisting, the force that causes adjacent threads to wind up the fluff, that is, the extent to which two threads pull together is small, and thread breakage does not occur. Also, in the knitting needle part on the back side, although twisting occurs in the twisting direction for the S-twisted single yarn, the movement of the reed to the front side is linear, long distance, or fast, and the tension of the yarn does not loosen. The degree of entanglement due to the fluff of adjacent threads, that is, the degree of tension between them, is small, so thread breakage does not occur.

[Effect of the invention] As described above, in the present invention, S is used as the pile yarn.
Since twisted spun single yarn is used to knit with a knitting structure in which the wrapping direction with respect to the knitting needles on the front needle bed is clockwise, excessive yarn entanglement is prevented by the wrapping action at any part of the knitting needles on the front and rear needle beds. The cut pile fabric can be knitted in the same manner as before without causing problems in knitting due to thread breakage. Moreover, the cut pile fabric knitted in this way is comparable to conventional products using spun twin yarns as pile yarns. Therefore, according to the present invention, cut pile fabrics using spun single yarns as pile yarns can be easily produced and provided at low cost with a similar structure to conventional fabrics by warp knitting. Note that it is also effective to use known silo spun yarn or double roving yarn as the spun single yarn.
