From the above point of view, it has been common practice for cameras to be designed for the purpose of processing photographic materials of the same size, and to be equipped with separate processors or processing devices for photographic materials of different sizes.

からの強い要望となつていた。 However, as the level of in-store technicians has improved over the past few years, and in response to customer requests, it has become possible to perform development processing in-store as well, and to respond to requests for quick service. However, it is almost impossible to prepare processing machines and processing equipment for different sizes of photographic materials. For other sizes, processing had to be done by a separate processing laboratory or by hand, so the development of a processing machine or processing device that can be used commonly for different sizes is the key to this type of production. This has been a strong demand from the industry.

Although he devised a processing device for photographic light-sensitive materials, such as No. There were also opinions that the same amount of processing solution would be required to fill each processing solution tank, resulting in considerable economic losses. This tendency is due to the fact that when processing photographic paper (hereinafter referred to simply as "paper"), such as after the New Year, or during the tourist and wedding seasons, processing is concentrated on large-sized papers.
When processing paper, there was a noticeable difference between the off-season and other times, and this was identified as a real problem.
The development of processing machines and processing equipment adapted to the throughput of photographic light-sensitive materials has also become desirable.

This is an unavoidable problem or drawback in that the processing liquid of each pre-treatment adheres to each pulley, each roller, etc. of these conveyance mechanism parts, causing uneven development. As an incidental problem, Another point was to make the processing time for photographic materials the same during the season and during the off-season.

る。 Finally, the transport mechanism 3 featured in the present invention
0 will be explained with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3, leader belts 31 and 3 in this conveyance mechanism 30 for conveying photographic paper, that is, paper.
1 is the utility model registration No. 1 that was previously filed by Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd., the joint venture company of the patent applicant.
1336946 (Utility Model Publication No. 54-44592) etc., and similarly to this leader belt, each processing liquid tank forming the processing liquid tank part 10 is attached in the length direction of the processing liquid tank part 10. Although the conveyance mechanism 30 is made to run at a constant speed along the inside of both sides and the upper side of the inside, the characteristic of this conveyance mechanism 30 is that the leader belts 31, 31 can be moved at a constant speed during the season and during the off-season. It is characterized by the fact that the running speed can be changed to obtain the same processing effect, and the uneven development that tends to occur during off-season processing can be eliminated using an extremely simple method. It has the following. This will be explained below.

なつた。 That is, in the present invention, similar to the invention of Utility Model Application No. 1987-87322 filed earlier by the present patent applicant and the utility model registration application (1) filed on the same date, a photographic light-sensitive material represented by paper is proposed. By changing the conveyance speed of the paper according to the processing amount and optimizing the amount of each processing liquid used, it has become possible to perform so-called development processing on photographic light-sensitive materials economically. Unlike the invention in utility model registration application (1),
Of each processing liquid tank, during the off-season when only the other chamber divided by the dividing wall is used as a processing liquid tank, the transport mechanism part in the other chamber that is not filled with the processing liquid is photographed. Since it is not used as a material transport mechanism, it is possible to completely eliminate uneven development caused by processing liquid adhering to rollers, etc. for transport and guidance of parts of the transport mechanism that are not used. を提供し得ることとなつた。 As is clear from the above description, the automatic developing apparatus for photographic light-sensitive materials according to the present invention is a so-called automatic development system in which the photographic light-sensitive materials are processed by meandering through each processing liquid tank arranged in a series using a conveyance mechanism. In each processing liquid tank in the device, in particular, the processing liquid tank that requires a relatively long time for processing and requires precision in processing time is used as a reference, as well as other required processing liquid tanks, and between each processing liquid tank. It is possible to divide the processing liquid chambers at locations that do not impede the transfer of photographic material by dividing walls lower than the partition walls of By making it possible to use each processing liquid chamber as a processing liquid tank and operating the processing liquid circulation mechanism accordingly, a large amount of photographic light-sensitive materials such as photographic film and large photographic paper can be stored. During seasons when the amount of processing increases dramatically, such as after the new year when consumption is high, or during the tourist and wedding seasons, each processing liquid chamber is fully used as a processing liquid tank, and processing is performed as in the off-season. When the consumption of photographic light-sensitive materials decreases, one of the divided processing liquid chambers in each processing liquid tank is used as a processing liquid tank, and the conveyance speed of the paper is changed by the conveyance speed variable mechanism.
Of course, it is possible to economically optimize the consumption of each treatment liquid depending on the season by performing the treatment for the same time as the treatment time during the season, and furthermore, the present invention The transport mechanism for the photographic light-sensitive material in the processing tank is configured such that during the off-season when one of the processing liquid chambers of each processing liquid tank is used as a processing liquid tank, the photographic light-sensitive material does not pass through the other processing liquid chamber of each processing liquid tank. With a droplet that can be transported, partial processing is performed that may cause uneven development due to the processing liquid adhering to each member of the transport mechanism in the processing liquid chamber that does not contain the processing liquid. Even during this off-season,
It has now become possible to provide an automatic developing device that has an excellent effect of providing processing effects that are the same as during the season.
