It is composed of an acoustic transmitting member having an inner surface having the same cross-sectional shape as the inner surface of the piping, a water tank filled with liquid is provided on the outer periphery of the member, and an acoustic resistor is laid on the inner wall surface of the water tank.

In this case, since the inner surface of the acoustic transmission member has the same cross-sectional shape as the inner surface of the pipe, the flow resistance of the liquid in the channel does not increase.

Note that the inner surfaces of the acrylic 3 and the pipe 1 have the same cross-sectional shape. 4 is a water tank provided on the outer periphery of the acrylic 3 portion of the pipe 1, and the water tank 4 is filled with water and has a wedge-shaped acoustic resistor 5 on its inner wall surface.
has been laid down. As the acoustic resistor 5, for example, styrene, cotton, sponge, etc. are used. Furthermore, depending on the situation, the water tank 4 may be supplementally filled with the acoustic resistor 5. Reference numeral 6 denotes a pair of flanges provided on the pipe 1, which sandwich the water tank 4 and securely fix it to the outer circumference of the acrylic 3 portion.

つて行く。 The operation of this configuration will be explained next. Underwater sound generated within the pipe 1 is first transmitted into the aquarium 4 from the acrylic 3 part in the middle of the pipe 1. this is,
This is because the acrylic 3 has almost the same acoustic impedance as the water 2 and is acoustically transparent. The underwater sound transmitted into the water tank 4 is transmitted through the water in the water tank 4 and is dissipated by the acoustic resistor 5. At this time, since the acoustic resistor 5 is wedge-shaped, its noise reduction effect is particularly large. On the other hand, the water 2 flowing through the pipe 1 passes through the acrylic portion 3 without any obstruction in its flow.
