When using a ceramic substrate as a ceramic substrate, it is highly brittle, so when attaching an eyelet terminal, a shocking force is applied to the eyelet of the terminal using a commonly used punch, causing the eyelet to plastically deform. No crimping method is used. Instead, after inserting the eyelet of the terminal into the board, use a punch that rotates around the centerline of the eyelet while maintaining a constant angle with respect to the centerline of the eyelet, and then insert the eyelet in the normal direction. A method of caulking is used.

After inserting the punch 4, the punch 4 makes a certain angle to the center line of the eyelet part 3, rotates around the center line of the eyelet part 3, and applies pressure to the eyelet part 3 in the direction of the arrow. . Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the punch 4 rotates while pushing the eyelet portion 3 outward, that is, in the normal direction of the eyelet portion 3 in FIG. 4b, while crimping it. After crimping, the eyelet portion 3 is expanded in the normal direction along the substrate 1, as shown in FIG. 4a, and the terminal 2 is fixed to the substrate 1.

For this reason, the eyelet portion 3 is inclined diagonally, which tends to cause instability such as cracking of the board 1 and weakening of the attachment of the terminal 2 by caulking.

It is temporarily caulked with a slight gap between it and the substrate, and then caulked with a rotating punch while maintaining a constant angle with respect to the center line of the eyelet so that the eyelet expands in the normal direction. It is.

The force required to tilt the eyelet portion diagonally becomes smaller, making it difficult to tilt diagonally. In addition, the hole size at the end of the eyelet is also expanded by the temporary crimping punch, reducing variation in crimping, thereby reducing variation in crimping.

Moreover, the effect is equivalent to that of shortening the length of the eyelet part 7 by the temporary crimping, and the moment applied to the eyelet part 7 by the punch 9 is also reduced. Therefore, the effect of tilting the eyelet portion 7 as seen in the conventional example is reduced.

By caulking the eyelet part with a rotating punch while maintaining the lattice shape so as to spread it in the normal direction, stable attachment of the terminal can be ensured, and this has a great practical effect.
