ンに内蔵したフイルタの洗浄機構に特徴を有する

取外すかしてフイルタを洗浄するようにしてい
た。しかしながら、前者の方法では、塗料を洗い
流すことができても目詰まりをなくすことはでき
ず、また後者の方法にあつては、作業が煩雑であ
るばかりでなく、洗浄が不完全になり易いといつ

浄することのできる新たな塗装ガンを提案するこ

て、図中符号1で示した塗装ガン本体には、その
ホルダ2に筒状のフイルタ13が内蔵されてい
て、ホルダ2下端の塗料流入口12から流入した
塗料をここで瀘過したあと、塗料案内管14を介
してニードル弁16の上流側に位置する塗料ノズ
ル元室15へ供給するように構成され、また、こ
のホルダ2には、空気導入路22と通気弁23が
設けられていて、ホルダ2下端の空気流入口21
から流入した加圧空気を上記した通気弁2,3を
経て塗料ノズル17の周囲に開口した環状の噴気
ノズル24へと導き、ここからこの加圧空気を噴
出させることによつて塗料ノズル17からの塗料

逆止作用を解除するプラグ42付きの排液ホース
41を接続させた上で圧送ポンプ35を作動させ
る。これにより、洗浄液タンク33内の洗浄液は
洗浄液流入口32から塗料ノズル元室15に入
り、さらに塗料案内管14を経て塗料の流過方向
と逆の方向からフイルタ13内に流入し、メツシ
ユの塗料流入側の面に付着した麈埃や異物等を塗
料とともに洗い落してこれらを排液ホース41か

ス41aを接続させる一方、洗浄液流入口32に
設けた急速継手31に洗浄液供給ホース36を接
続させた上で、洗浄液タンク33内の洗浄液を塗
料ノズル元室15に送り込み、さらに、さきに使
用されたフイルタ13aに向けて塗料の流れと逆
向きに洗浄液を流入させて、ここに付着した塗料
あるいは麈埃等を洗い落して排出する。また、必
要に応じては、第4図に示したように、両継手1
