BACKGROUND ART Recently, there has been active research and development into coated metal enclosures that are constructed watertightly and airtight by seam welding coated metal materials (mainly stainless steel materials, etc.) to the inner and outer surfaces of structures. If the upper end of the joint a to be seam welded is simply cut off as shown in Fig. 7, it will look like a vertical knife, which is not only extremely dangerous for industrial workers, but also Because of the inconvenience of cutting the cord of the seam welding machine, etc., it was necessary to break off the upper end of the joint part a. Folding machines have already been developed for this purpose, but they may not be able to reliably fold, or may not be able to produce good folds if the thickness of the coated metal material changes, or may cause problems during the folding process. When a problem occurs, the folding machine cannot be easily removed, resulting in a significant drop in folding work efficiency.

In order to solve the above problem, the inventor has made extensive research and has developed an invention in which a plurality of groups of folding rolls for folding the upper edge of a vertical thin sheet material can be driven inside the folding machine body. , At least one of the main roll and the secondary roll of the pair of rolls in each group is formed so that the diameter becomes smaller as it goes downward, and the roll is positioned slightly below the rolls of the plurality of groups. A folding machine may be provided with a sliding support plate to support the folding machine body, or a plurality of folding rolls for folding the upper edge of a vertical thin plate may be drivably provided within the folding machine body. Of the pair of folding rolls in each group, at least one of the folding main roll and the folding sub roll is formed so that the diameter becomes smaller as it goes downward, and the pairs of folding rolls of the multiple groups are aligned approximately horizontally. A folding machine in which upper rolls of folding are made to spring against each other and the upper edges of vertical thin plates are bent to a substantially right angle are made to spring downward;
Alternatively, a plurality of groups of folding rolls for folding the upper edge of the vertical thin plate material are drivably provided in the folding machine body, and at least one of the pair of folding rolls of each group is a main folding roll and a sub-folding roll. The diameter of the thin sheet material is reduced as it goes downward, and the pairs of folding rolls of the plurality of groups are repelled from each other in a substantially horizontal direction, and the upper edge of the vertical thin sheet material is bent to a substantially right angle. The upper roll is fired downward,
Furthermore, by making the folding machine capable of opening the main folding roll or the sub-roll of the folding rolls out of the multiple groups of folding rolls to the outside in a substantially horizontal direction, the folding work can be ensured by preventing each folding roll from floating off. ,
Furthermore, good folding can be achieved even if the thickness of the coated metal material of the coated metal envelope changes, and the folding machine can be easily removed during folding work, further improving folding efficiency. , which solves the above problem.

In the invention set forth in claim 1, a plurality of groups of folding rolls for folding the upper edge of a vertical thin plate material are drivably provided in the folding machine body 1, and one of the pair of folding rolls in each group is By forming at least one of the main roll and the secondary roll so that the diameter becomes smaller as it goes downwards, the roll that becomes smaller in diameter as it goes downwards, When the speed becomes faster than the lower side and the pair of folding rolls rotates, as they rotate, they act to lift the thin plate material (joint part a) upward. In other words, when considering a vertical thin sheet material (joint part a) as a reference, the folding roll acts as if it bites into the lower part of the thin sheet material (joint part a) while rotating, and the folding roll cuts into the thin sheet material during the folding operation. It is possible to prevent floating deviation without easily coming off from (joint part a), allowing extremely smooth folding work, and significantly increasing folding work efficiency.

In addition, in the invention of the same paragraph 1, a sliding support plate 2 is provided at a position slightly below the folding rolls of the plurality of groups.
3 and 23 to support the folding machine main body 1, the entire load of the folding machine is transferred to the sliding support plate 2.
3 and 23, the multiple groups of folding rolls function only to fold the thin plate material (joint part a), and as a result, as the folding rolls rotate and advance, the vertical This eliminates the occurrence of fine arc-shaped wrinkles on the flat main plate near the thin plate material (joint part a), and allows the folding machine to move smoothly. In addition, the sliding support plates 23, 23
With the presence of the folding roll, the folding main roll and the folding sub-roll need only have a roll thickness corresponding to the folding height, which is economical.

Next, in the invention set forth in claim 2, in particular, the pairs of folding rolls of the plurality of groups are made to rebound from each other in a substantially horizontal direction, and the upper edge of the vertical thin plate material is made to have a substantially right angle. By causing the bending upper roll to snap downward, the thickness of the thin plate material to be broken (joint part a) may change, or the thickness of the thin plate piece to be broken during the folding process may change at the joint part, etc. Even if the sheet thickness suddenly becomes thicker or thinner due to the existence of a sheet, the horizontal distance between the multiple groups of folding rolls will become narrower or wider to follow the change in thickness against the elastic force. This allows for extremely good folding work, and the efficiency of folding work can be significantly improved. Furthermore, the vertical spacing between the multiple groups of folding rolls that bend the upper edge of the vertical sheet material to almost a right angle against the elastic force becomes narrower or wider, resulting in changes in sheet thickness. The upper edge can be bent to a nearly right angle with any plate thickness. Furthermore, similar to the invention in item 1, the folding roll does not easily come off from the thin plate material (joint part a) during the folding operation, and floating deviation can be prevented.

Further, in the invention of claim 3, in addition to the structure of the invention of claim 2, the main folding roll or the sub-folding roll of the plurality of folding rolls can be opened outward in a substantially horizontal direction. By doing so, if any trouble occurs during the folding operation, the folding machine can be moved vertically by opening the folding main roll or the folding sub roll outward in a substantially horizontal direction and widening the space between the folding rolls. It can be removed from the thin plate material (joint part a) very easily, and the folding work efficiency can be significantly improved.
In the past, the drive of the folding rolls had to be reversed to travel a certain length (for example, about 2 to 3 meters), which solved the disadvantage of being extremely inefficient. Even if the folding main roll or the folding sub-roll can be opened outward in a substantially horizontal direction,
By causing the plural groups of folding rolls to repel each other in a substantially horizontal direction during the folding operation, the folding operation can be performed while properly holding the vertical thin plate material (joint portion a). The other configurations are the same as the configuration of the invention in item 2, and similar effects can be achieved.
