するものである。

より成るパツキン3′が嵌込まれ、継手本体2′の
下部に螺着されるナツト4′によりホース5′を締
付固着した形態の物であり、蛇口1′に取付けて
水を流せば、その水圧がパツキン3′の裏側より
パツキンを蛇口1′側に押し付け、パツキン3′の
復元力と相俟つて蛇口1′に対し強く装着される
という構造の物であつた。しかるにこの種従来の
ホース継手ではその継手本体2′の内部空間及び
そこに用いられているパツキン3′の形状が丸形
状であるが為に、蛇口が丸形状の場合には緊密に
適合するが、蛇口が矩形状の場合には、該矩形状
蛇口の四角に於いてはパツキンと強く当接される
が、それ以外の辺部にあつては蛇口とパツキン間
に隙間が生じるかあるいは弱い力でしか当接出来
ずに、漏水の原因となる欠点がある。

<問題点を解決する為の手段> 本発明では上述の欠点を解消し、蛇口形状が丸
形でも矩形でも、いずれの場合にも十分に適合す
るホース継手を提供せんとするものであり、その
要旨は上下端開口状筒体から成る継手本体の内壁
に弾性素材から成る蛇口締付用パツキンが周設さ
れ、又同筒体下部にはホース取付用ナツトが重合
されるホース継手に於いて、上記パツキンをその
上端開口部に於いて鍔状張出部を有する矩形柱状
体の中心に上下方向に円形空間部が貫設された如
き筒状体となし、しかも同筒状体に四角部にはそ
の下端から上記鍔状張出部のやゝ下方に到る迄の
間を各々上下方向に渡る空洞部が形成されている
如き構成となしたことを特徴とするホース継手で
ある。

する外形が矩形状の筒状体3より成り、しかも上
端開口部には鍔状張出部4が設けられると共に、
筒状体3の肉部の四角部にはその上部は閉塞され
下部は開口状の空洞部5が形成されている。この
パツキンは、ゴムや柔軟性プラスチツク等の弾性
体を素材とする。

る為のナツト8が重合自在に設けられており、図
示する如く蛇口9をパツキン1の上端開口部を押
し拡げる様にして差し込み使用するものである。
この際に蛇口9の外形が丸形の場合には、パツキ
ン1に丸形の空間部2が貫設されている為に第5
図に示す様にパツキン1の筒状体3はあまり変形
を起こす事なく、又空洞部5も殆んど押し潰され
る事なく蛇口9はパツキン1の空間部2内へ嵌入
され、蛇口9の全周面にパツキン1が十分に当接
される。又蛇口9が矩形の場合は、第6図に示す
様にパツキン1の四角部に形成されたた空洞部5
が押し潰される事により、その分だけ該四角方向
の開口径が拡張され、しかもパツキン1の筒状体
3も相当に変形された形態となるが、四角部に於
ける空間部2の拡径は空洞部5が潰される事によ
り無理なくなされるものであり、該四角部が拡径
された反動が他の辺部に現われ、辺部に於いてパ
ツキン1の蛇口9に対する当接力が弱くなるとい
う事はない。

径され、パツキンは蛇口全周で強固に、かつ略均
一に蛇口を締め付けるので、丸形蛇口に対しては
勿論、矩形蛇口に対しても十分に緊密な適合をな
し、漏水や継手自体が蛇口から離脱するという事
がないものである。
