Calves are usually separated from their mother cows one week after birth and fed with formula milk. However, when they are with the mother cow, they are kept warm by the mother cow's body temperature, but if they are separated from the mother cow, they will catch a cold due to the cold. When calves are about two months old, their subcutaneous fat thickens, their body hair grows, and they gain physical strength, making them resistant to cold weather. People can catch colds and develop pneumonia due to the cold weather in winter, or from the wind when traveling by car.

び寒さによる肺炎によるものと推定されている。 Generally, 20 to 30% of calves die from diseases within six months of birth, and it is estimated that most of these deaths are due to pneumonia caused by temperature differences, heat, and cold.

保温設備を設けることは困難である。 Traditionally, the floor or entire room of the barn was heated to protect calves from the cold, but this increases equipment and other costs, and it is difficult to install such heating equipment while traveling by car. Have difficulty.

きない。 Further, for example, Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 49-119375 discloses clothes for dogs. However, even if such a technique is applied to calves, since calves are larger than dogs, it is troublesome to insert the calf's feet into holes made in clothing, making it difficult to actually wear them. . Further, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 30-7161 discloses a rain gear for cows and horses. However, since such known technology covers the back or upper side of the cow or horse, it cannot cover the abdomen or lower side, which is most necessary for keeping the calf warm, and cannot prevent the calf from getting cold.

A connecting device is provided for connection, and a string is attached to the other one of the apex portions.

The top corner to which the string is attached should be located on the calf's neck, and if the string is tied around the neck, it can be pulled when guiding the calf.

脱がきわめて容易である。 In particular, since the top parts connected to each other cover the abdomen of the calf, the abdomen, which is relatively prone to shrinking, is sufficiently kept warm. In addition, it is extremely easy to put on and take off because it is enough to simply put it on your back and connect the apex parts to each other using a connecting tool.

なつている。 In FIG. 1, the body wrapping, which is designated as a whole by the reference numeral 1, is made of artificial paper and has a diamond shape as a whole. This body wrap 1 is rhombic in shape and has four apex portions 2, 3, 4 and 5. Two surface fasteners 6a, 6b and 6c, 6d are attached to each of the pair of opposing apex portions 3, 5, but the number of surface fasteners is arbitrary. The hook-and-loop fasteners 6a and 6b are provided on the back side of the body wrap 1, and the hook-and-loop fasteners 6c and 6d are provided on the front side of the body wrap 1, so that they can be overlapped and connected in the torso of a calf as described later. A string 7 is attached to the other apex portion 2, and the remaining apex portion 4 is free.

Hang it on the back of the calf C, place the free top corner part 4 on the buttocks, the top corner part 2 with the string 7 attached on the neck part, and place the top corner parts 3 and 5 with the connectors on the calf C. They are applied to the torso of the cow, overlapped, and connected using connectors 6a to 6d. The string 7 can be tied around the front of the neck, and can be pulled as is or with another string attached to it when guiding the calf C.

Furthermore, the work of attaching it to the cow is easy, and therefore the cold in the calf can be suitably prevented. The string can also be used to guide calves that are not wearing nose rings, which is extremely effective. It should be disposable after use (usually about 2 weeks).
