【発明の詳細な説明】
(1) 発明の技術分野
本発明は磁性トナーを用いた電子写真式静電記
録装置の圧力定着器に関し、特に圧力ローラに付
着した磁性トナーの回収装置に関するものであ

(2) 技術の背景
一成分現像剤を用いた電子写真式静電記録装置
においては、磁性トナーにより潜像を現像し、こ
れを記録紙に転写後圧力定着器の圧力ローラによ
り磁性トナーを記録紙上に圧着させて定着させて
いる。この定着時に記録紙上の磁性トナーが圧力
ローラ上に付着する場合がある。このような圧力
ローラ上に付着した磁性トナーは定着時に記録紙
を汚し印字品質を低下させるため確実に回収され

のスクレーパ上にトナー吸引用マグネツトを設
け、該スクレーパ下方にかき落された磁性トナー
を収容するトナー受けを備えた構成である。この
ような従来の磁性トナー回収装置においては、回
収能力が充分でなくA4サイズ記録紙を1万〜2
万シト使用すると回収能力が満杯となりトナー受
けからトナー塊が記録紙上に落下して印字面を汚
すという不具合があつた。トナー収容量を増大さ
せるために、トナー受けを単に大きくすることは

(4) 発明の目的
本発明は上記従来技術の不具合に鑑みなされた
ものであつて、トナー受けの形状を大きくするこ
となくトナー回収能力を増大した磁性トナー回収

(5) 発明の構成
この目的を達成するため、本発明では、一端が

た磁性トナーをかき落すためのスクレーパと、該
スクレーパ下方にかき落された磁性トナーを収容
するトナー受けと、前記スクレーパの他端側で且
つ下面側に設けられたトナー吸引用マグネツト
と、上記トナー受け上にさらにトナー吸引用マグ

図面は本発明に係る磁性トナー回収装置の断面
図である。圧力定着器は第1ローラ1、第2ロー
ラ2および第3ローラ3からなり、第1ローラ1
および第3ローラ3が各々第2ローラ2に圧接す
るように付勢され図示しない駆動伝達手段で連結
され各々矢印方向に回転する。定着すべき記録紙
(図示しない)は印字面を上面にして矢印Aのよ
うに第1ローラ1および第2ローラ2間を通過す
る。この圧力ローラである第1ローラ1の圧接部
の後方には磁性トナー回収装置4が備わる。この
磁性トナー回収装置4はアルミニウムの押出し成
型材からなる枠体5に第1ローラ1の表面に付着
した磁性トナーをかき落すためのスクレーパ6を
備え、このスクレーパ6の先端近傍には、磁性ト
ナーを吸引してその遊離を容易にしまたかき落し
た磁性トナーの周囲への飛散を防止するための第
1マグネツト7が設けられる。枠体5はさらに少
量のシリコンオイルを含浸したフエルト材8を第
1ローラ1に圧接させて有し、第1ローラ1の表
面を完全に清掃する。スクレーパ6の下方にはか
き落した磁性トナーを収容するためのトナー受け
9が枠体5に支持されて備わる。このトナー受け
9の奥部には磁性トナー吸引用第2マグネツト1

以上のような構成の磁性トナー回収装置におい
ては、スクレーパ6によりかき落された磁性トナ
ーはトナー受け9上に落下後さらに第2マグネツ
ト10によりトナー受け9の奥側に吸引されるた
め、トナー受け9の磁性トナー保持力が増大し、
トナー塊の印字面への落下が減少する。この結
果、トナー受け9の寸法を従来のものと同じとし
たまま、トナー塊の落下を来さないでA4サイズ
