【発明の詳細な説明】[Detailed description of the invention]

〔発明の技術分野〕 本発明は、白、黒、赤の各色を検出し、これに
応じた画信号の送信を行なうフアクシミリ送信方
式に関するものである。 〔従来技術〕 従来は、原稿の一部を抹消してフアクシミリ装
置により送信する場合、原稿を複写し、不要部分
を削除して台紙へ貼付のうえ送信原稿とするか、
または、不要部分をマスクして送信原稿とするか
の手段が用いられており、多大の手間を要する欠
点を生じいる。 〔発明の概要〕 本発明は、従来のかゝる欠点を根本的に解決す
る目的を有し、赤の画信号を所定の複数ビツト連
続して検出したときから、白の画信号を所定の複
数ビツト連続して検出するまでの間、検出した黒
および赤の画信号を白の画信号へ変換して送信す
ることにより、原稿の不要部分を赤により塗り潰
してフアクシミリ装置へ挿入すれば、赤により塗
り潰した範囲が白として送信されるものとした極
めて効果的な、フアクシミリ送信方式を提供する
ものである。 〔実施例〕 以下、実施例を示す図によつて本発明の詳細を
説明する。 第1図は、送信動作のタイミングチヤートであ
り、主走査周期パルスaの間隔によつて示される
主走査周期の1周期間中に、走査光bが緑色光
GLから赤色光RLへ切替わると共に、これと対応
してイメージセンサに対する走査が2回行なわ
れ、これに応じて画信号cが2回発生するものと
なつており、メモリのアクセス状況d、合成画信
号eおよび送信fに示すとおり、1回目の走査に
よる緑色光GLに基づくイメージセンサからの画
信号cは、書き込みWTによりメモリへ一旦格納
されたうえ、2回目の走定時に読み出しRDによ
り取り出され、これと、2回目の走査による赤色
光RLに基づくイメージセンサからの画信号cと
の合成により、合成画信号eとして黒、赤、白の
各画信号B、R、Wを得てから、送信fにより黒
の画信号Bのみが送信され、主走査周期パルスa
の発生に応じてこれを反復するものとなつてい
る。 なお、緑色光Lと赤色光RLとの照射に応ずる
走査面の白、黒、赤による反射率は次表のとおり
であり、この反射率にしたがう論理条件により、
緑色光GLと赤色光RLとに基づく各画信号が合成
され、白、黒、赤の別が定められる。
