The overhang widening road according to the present invention includes a counterweight formed by pouring cement hardening material into a groove formed at the valley side end of an existing road, and a counterweight formed by pouring concrete into the groove formed at the valley side edge. and a plurality of support beams arranged at intervals in a direction perpendicular to the direction of travel of the existing road. Each support beam has one end connected to an anchor bolt embedded in a counterweight. Prestress is applied to the vertical girders and support beams, which are fixed and placed in the middle on a support part, with the other end overhanging the edge of the existing road, and the support beams that are adjacent to each other are spanned between the valley side ends. The above-mentioned problem is solved by connecting the support beams and placing the end of the floor slab on the step between the support beam and the longitudinal girder.

In this invention, as described above, the middle part of the support beam, which partially extends from the existing road, is placed on the support part formed at the valley side end of the existing road. The support portion is formed by pouring concrete into an excavated trench, and in the case of a support beam with a small overhang, it can sufficiently support the load applied to the overhang.
