遠い距離にある連通孔からも収納空間内へ十分な
送気が行なわれる。そして通気孔27を開閉する
弁28を設ければ、引出し7によるポンプ機能が
高められ、換気機能がよりよく発揮される。この
換気構造においては、収納空間2,3および5の
側壁が空気を含む二重壁になつているため、それ
自体で有する断熱作用、従つて結露防止作用と引
出し7の抜差し作用による強制通風作用とが相乗
効果を生むのであるが、特にこの引出しには、靴
下,ハンカチ,肌着,寝具,シート等の如く毎日
のように又は定期的に取替え又は使用するものを
収納しておけば、引出しをひんぱんに抜差しする
ことになるので、前記強制送風作用は日常的に無
理なく行なわれ、好郡合である。なお、引出し7
は必要に応じ引出し装填室8の最奥まで押込み、
強制通風効果をより大きくすることもできる。
