Windows that use conventional heat-reflecting glass prevent strong solar radiation from entering indoors in the summer and help improve the efficiency of air conditioning, but in the winter they prevent useful solar energy from entering indoors and are used for heating purposes. This has the disadvantage of increasing fuel consumption.

It has a structure comprising a slit bored perpendicularly to the surface of the heat ray reflective window glass at the end so as to communicate the space with the outside, and a window frame for holding the shoji at an arbitrary angular position.

Hold. The normal window glass 2 is a normal window glass. A slit 5 is made in a part along the upper edge of the heat-reflecting window glass 3 of the shoji 1 and a part along the lower edge of the heat-reflecting window glass 3.
The shoji 1 is communicated with the outside through the shoji 1.

The illustrated holding fixture 6 has a shaft element that rotatably supports the shoji 1 around a vertical axis of rotation, and a tightening element that holds the shoji 1 at an arbitrary angular position. Although the shoji 1 of the present invention needs to be held at any angular position, it does not necessarily need to be rotatable around a vertical axis.

By doing so, the solar radiation S is actively reflected by the heat ray reflecting window glass 3, and an increase in the cooling load due to the solar radiation S is prevented.
Also, the air accumulated in the sky 4 inside the shoji 1 is indicated by the arrow M
As shown in , since the heat is automatically discharged to the outside through the slits 5 provided at the upper and lower parts of the shoji 1, an increase in the incident heat indoors from the air 4 is prevented.

In this state, solar radiation S passes through the normal window glass 2, enters the sky 4, and is reflected by the heat-reflecting window glass 3. Since ordinary glass is opaque to heat rays with long wavelengths, most of the heat rays reflected from the heat ray reflecting window glass 3 are not emitted to the outdoors and warm the air in the sky 4. The warmed air is automatically sent indoors through slits 5 provided at the top and bottom of the shoji 1 as shown by arrow N. Therefore, the indoor air is mixed with the air from the sky 4 and warmed, producing a heating effect by solar heat.

Slits are made perpendicular to the heat-reflecting window glass surface so as to communicate with each other, and the shoji is constructed so that it can be held at any angle, so the simple structure allows sunlight to be actively reflected outdoors in the summer. This reduces the cooling load, allows solar heat to be used for heating in the winter, and allows outside air conditioning through ventilation during the middle months when the outside temperature is comfortable.
It has a remarkable energy saving effect.
