E. Effect Electric potential pulsates rhythmically in each part of the human body. An easy-to-understand example is the heart muscle, which has a precise structure and generates electric potentials of several millivolts at different times to move the heart muscle. Furthermore, when we move our bodies, electric potential is generated between muscles, causing them to contract and relax. Furthermore, as a long-term rhythm,
There are sleep and wakefulness, and there is a biorhythm represented by Mens as a rhythm that lasts for a longer period of time. Long-term rhythms like biorhythms are probably due to the influence of the moon's gravitational pull. The regulation of physical constitution based on arithmetic is thought to be a manifestation of a similar influence, but it is not taken seriously in current science as a superstition. However, when measuring each potential within a living body, the amplitude repeats from positive to negative in daily, weekly, and monthly cycles. If we examine the potentials of wounds, cancerous lesions, etc., we find that these potentials are biased more positively or negatively than the surrounding potential, and in many cases are biased positively. This bias is a natural healing reaction of the living body, and is a good thing in itself, but if the wound is severe, edema may occur and be accompanied by pain. Edema impedes blood circulation, which slows down the metabolism of the injured area and delays healing. When a wound occurs and normal cells are destroyed, they decay and have a positive potential. To reverse this, the human body concentrates a negative charge on the injury site, which causes the wound to have a negative potential. As a result, due to the osmotic pressure effect of the negative potential, water collects around the wound, forming edema, which obstructs blood circulation. When blood circulation deteriorates, the excretion of metabolites and the transportation of oxygen are impaired, causing the body to have a positive potential again. However, since positive potential is less favorable for living organisms than negative potential, this positive potential is weaker than negative potential and does not have enough power to eliminate edema. The wound area originally has a negative atmosphere and tends to have healthy cells, but because the positive atmosphere is not resolved, the metabolic reactions of the cells are not appropriate and healing is delayed.

そこで、本発明によれば、生体電位を外部から
制御して浮腫などの治瘉を行なうのである。
Therefore, according to the present invention, the biopotential is controlled externally to treat edema and the like.

In the drawing, the treatment device according to the invention includes a DC power supply 1, which generates a voltage to be applied to the human body 5, the current of which can be regulated by a current regulator 2. The treatment device also includes a positive electrode 6, which is adapted to be attached to or implanted in the human body 5 by any means. Furthermore, the treatment device includes a cathode 3 to which an ionic solution, in particular a solution containing F - and Cl - ions with high ion mobility and high reactivity, in particular a calcium fluoride solution, etc. is applied. A flexible bag 4 consisting of a contained ion permeable membrane is attached, and the negative electrode is attached to the human body 5 via this bag 4.

The treatment device of the present invention further includes a potential detection needle 7, which is adapted to be inserted into a lesion in the human body 5. The potential detection needle 7 is connected to an electrometer 8, which is adapted to indicate the difference between the lesion potential and the normal tissue potential.
The value measured by the electrometer 8 is fed back to the current regulator 2 as shown by 9, and based on this feedback value, the current supplied to the negative electrode 3 is varied according to a preset program, thereby controlling the lesion area. control the electrical potential to obtain the desired effect, such as destruction of cancer cells or reduction of edema. When the main purpose is to destroy cancer cells, it is sufficient to keep the lesion area at a positive potential, so potential detection and feedback are not necessary. Different programs are prepared depending on the nature and degree of the problem, and the user can select from these programs as appropriate.
