本発明はエアクリーナ装置に関し、特にエアク
リーナとキヤブレータとの連結をなす連結チユー
ブと、吸入する空気の除塵作用をなすフレームト

ーとの結合部分においても、剛性がないと同様の

装着を容易としたエアクリーナ装置を提供するこ

ブ2,3に連なる左右のバツクステー4により車
体フレームが構成されており、メインチユーブ2
には燃料タンク5が跨設され、この燃料タンク5
の下方にはインライン4気筒エンジン6が配置さ
れ、更に4個のキヤブレータ7が車体左右方向に
直線的に配列されている。燃料タンク5の後端部
及びその後方に位置するシート8の下方にはエア
クリーナ9が配設されている。エアクリーナ9
は、クリーナケース本体10と、このケース本体
10内をダーテイサイドとクリーンサイドに分離
するフイルタエレメント11と、車体前方に開口
しかつケース本体10内のダーテイサイドに連通
したダクト12と、ケース本体10内のクリーン
サイドに連通しかつケース本体10に対してバン
ド13により締め付け固定されたエアクリーナチ
ヤンバー14とから構成され、エアクリーナチヤ
ンバー14の開口縁部に嵌合した第4図A〜Dに
示すような2つの連結チユーブ15,15によつ

タ7に嵌合した後、締付部15c,15dにてバ
ンド等により締め付け固定される。連結チユーブ
15における二股分岐部分とクリーナ側開口端と
の間の内壁には全周に亘つて係止部としての溝1
5eが形成され、この溝15eには第5図A〜D
に示す様なフレームトラツプ16が補強部材とし
てその外縁部16aにて嵌合し、ゴム製連結チユ
ーブ15の剛性を高めている。二股形状の連結チ
ユーブ15の場合、特に二股分岐部分の剛性が低
いので、当該部分の近傍内に補強部材(フレーム
トラツプ16)を配設することにより、エアクリ
ーナチヤンバー14との嵌合をより確実にできる
と共に、連結チユーブ15に負圧の脈動が作用し
ても連結チユーブ15が撓むことなく、キヤブレ
ータ7へ十分なる吸気量を供給できることにもな

る。フレームトラツプ16は従来エアクリーナチ
ヤンバー14内に配設されていたが、本発明の様
に、フレームトラツプ16を連結チユーブ15内
に配設し、かつ空気の流れを大きく乱す外縁部1
6aを溝15eに嵌合せしめることにより、エア
クリーナ9からキヤブレータ7に至る吸気通路内
における空気の流れをスムースに出来る。また、
エアクリーナチヤンバー14にはブロー成型品が
よく使用され、ブロー成型品は一体の故、開口の
径より大きな物を収納できないし、また固定も難
しい為、従来は、ブローのチヤンバー内にフレー
ムトラツプをセツトすることは非常に困難であつ
たが、連結チユーブ15内に配設することにより
フレームトラツプ16を連結チユーブ15の端部
と共にエアクリーナチヤンバー14内にセツトで

収納物の固定も難しいため、従来はエアクリーナ
チヤンバー内にフレームトラツプを装着すること
は非常に困難であつたが、上述の如く連結チユー
ブ内にフレームトラツプを配設することにより、
これを連結チユーブの端部と共にエアクリーナチ
ヤンバー内に容易に設置することが出来るのであ

記連結チユーブのエアクリーナ側の内周面に係止
部を形成し、前記連結チユーブ内にフレームトラ
ツプを配設し且つその外周縁部を前記係止部によ
り係止せしめたことを特徴とするエアクリーナ装
