Among these conditions, (a) solderability and corrosion resistance can generally be improved by plating the conductor. however,
When plating is applied, not only solid wires and rectangular wires but also stranded wires can be plated, as is clear from the tape electric wire using conventional bulk plating stranded wires.
flexibility becomes considerably worse. In other words, the flexibility of the tape electric wire depends on the type of tape used, the manufacturing method, etc., but it is greatly influenced by the flexibility of the conductor itself. Therefore, to control this flexibility with bulk sparrow strands,
All that is needed is to control the amount of plating deposited, but this is a rather troublesome problem, and it is extremely difficult to obtain a suitable amount of plating.

るものである。 The present invention was made in view of the current situation, and it is possible to obtain sufficient flexibility, which is an inherent characteristic of the stranded conductor, in a tape electric wire using a stranded conductor, and to Apply partial metal coating (e.g. plating, etc.) to appropriate parts of the stranded conductor.
The object of the present invention is to provide a tape electric wire which has been subjected to a process (hereinafter referred to as plating) to improve handling properties during lead-out, as well as to improve solderability and corrosion resistance.

On both sides of the opening portions 3a and in the vicinity thereof, a metal covering portion 4 consisting of a bulk plating portion by, for example, a plating method is provided in advance to form a tape electric wire strand. In this case, a part of the metal covering part 4 in the longitudinal direction is disposed within the insulator on the tapes 1 and 2 side, and the opening part 3a is configured to protrude from the end of the tape.

In particular, the fatigue fracture resistance of the conductor due to stress concentration due to bending is improved, and the conductor at the lead-out portion has the following advantages. (1) Improved handling during pick-up work. (2) The flexibility (rigidity) of the all-plated part (metal coating part) of the lead part is improved, making it easier to insert it into a desired location of the connector, for example, and improving the ease of insertion and removal. Furthermore, it has the following characteristics: (3) it does not unravel, which is a characteristic of batch-plated wire, and (4) it does not require preliminary soldering.

3aの耐疲労破壊特性が向上する効果がある。 As explained above, according to the tape electric wire of the present invention, the tape electric wire strands, each of which has metal coating parts 4 provided in advance on both ends of the stranded wire conductor 3, are held in parallel with each other in a pair of tapes 1, 2, and a part of the metal covering part 4 is configured to protrude from the ends of the tapes 1 and 2 to form an opening part 3a. Each stranded conductor has no metal covering at all, which gives the tape wire sufficient flexibility, making it easy to insert and remove the tape wire into the insertion hole of the board or the desired location of the connector. When used as a connector, the rigidity of the all-plated part (metal coating part) of the opening part is improved, making it easier to insert into a connector etc., and the ease of insertion and removal is improved, and the opening part 3a does not fray in pieces. It has good soldering characteristics and no
In addition, since the metal coating near the exposed portion 3a is sandwiched between the tapes, even if repeated bending stress is applied to the exposed portion 3a, the fatigue fracture resistance of the exposed portion 3a due to stress concentration is improved. .

is provided on the stranded conductor 3 in advance, that is, it is not immersed in molten solder liquid and caused to penetrate between the tapes 1 and 2 by the capillary action, so that the tapes 1 and 2 are not damaged by heat. This has the effect that there is no risk of being exposed.
