<Prior art> In the synthetic fiber manufacturing process, particularly in the melt spinning process, a yarn package wound on a bobbin is switched to a new bobbin when it is fully wound. In other words, the yarn in the outermost layer of the package has a different or changed quality from the yarn during normal winding. Further, since atmospheric dust and the like adhere to the package during temporary storage until packaging, it is necessary to remove a predetermined length of the outermost layer of the package.

However, when searching for the yarn end manually, if the yarn end cannot be found immediately by looking at the surface of the package cage, the operator must stroke the surface of the package cage with his/her finger to find the end and take it out, which may cause rough hands of the worker. There were problems such as staining of the package cage due to sweating, etc., and fatigue of the worker due to looking at the details, especially in the case of fine denier, which caused great pain to the worker.

In other words, the packages formed in the spinning process are usually conveyed one after another via a conveyor, supported by the pegs of a tray. Most of the yarn ends are concentrated in the area called the overlapped part formed on the outermost layer of the package (this type of overlap is often formed), but the thread ends hang down and are pulled elsewhere. In order to prevent this, it is sometimes done to attach a lubricant to the end of the yarn during winding, thereby fixing the end of the yarn to the surface of the package. However, due to differences in the strength of the oil adhesion, vibrations during conveyance, etc., the adhered parts may come off and the thread ends may get caught elsewhere, become wrapped around the conveyor rollers, or become caught in the package tray coming from behind. . Furthermore, the thread ends caught elsewhere may fall off the twill and wind around the bobbin when the conveyance direction is changed. Furthermore, in case of package cases where the yarn is interrupted (not fully wound) during winding, and which do not have a bunch part, or in cases where the yarn ends are not fixed with oil, the yarn ends often hang down from the surface of the package.

<Example> FIG. 1 is a side view showing an example of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an enlarged sectional view of the suction device section of FIG. 1. In the figure, 1 is a stand fixed to the machine frame (not shown),
On the pedestal 1, a drive shaft 4 which rotates via a motor 2 and a chain 3 mounted in the pedestal 1 and capable of forward and reverse rotation is supported in the horizontal direction by bearings 5, 5'. 6 and 6' are sprockets that connect the chain 3. A base plate 8 is horizontally attached to the tip of the drive shaft 4 via a bracket 7.
A motor 9 for converting linear motion and a rack 10 connected to a pinion of the motor 9 so as to move vertically (up and down) relative to the base plate 8 are provided thereon. The rack 10 is disposed perpendicular to the axis of the drive shaft 4, and rotates around the axis as the drive shaft 4 rotates. A tubular arm 12 is attached to the tip of the rack 10 in a horizontal direction parallel to the drive shaft 4 via a connector 11, which also serves as a pressure air passage. The suction ports 17 are provided at intervals (not necessarily at equal intervals) such that the suction ports 17 are perpendicular to the axis of the drive shaft 4. The suction device 13 is the third
As shown in the figure, the arms 12 may be provided on both sides or only on one side, and it is preferable that the arms 12 be provided in close contact with each other in the portions corresponding to the bunch winding portions of the package. As shown in FIG. 2, these suction devices 13 are compact and have a general configuration including a compressed air supply hole 14 connected to a compressed air passage, a pressure equalization chamber 15, a compressed air jet hole 16, a suction port 17, an exhaust port 18, etc. However, it is not limited to this.
A major feature of this suction device 13 is that a wire mesh 19 is provided at or near the exhaust port 18 with openings that are large enough to prevent suction threads from flying out. Further, behind the exhaust port 18 of the suction device 13, an exhaust manifold pipe 20 is provided to cover the exhaust port 18 so that the exhaust gas does not blow out linearly backward.
It is designed to be discharged from 1.

In an apparatus having such a configuration, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, a yarn package is supported by pegs 31 of a tray 30 placed on a conveyor (not shown) (this may be done by a cart or the like). 29 is sent, it stops at the front position of the device according to the present invention. At this stop position, the axis of the package 29 is aligned with the axis of the drive shaft 4 by a stopper or the like, and at this time the arm 12 is positioned at the top. When the package 29 stops at a predetermined position, the linear motor 9 is activated and the rack 10 begins to move downward. During this movement, when the sensor 24 that detects the radius of the package 29 senses the package 29, the motor 9 is stopped by this signal. At this time, the arm 12 is positioned such that the suction port 17 of the suction device 13 attached to the arm 12 is close to the package 29 at a predetermined distance. Another suction device 22 is arranged close to the end surface of the package 29. Next, the forward/reverse motor 2 drives the base 8 and therefore the arm 1.
2 rotates 1 1/3 turns in the unwinding direction of the yarn.

As a result, the hanging end of the yarn or the yarn that is caught by other yarns during conveyance is torn off and wound around the package cage 29. Thereafter, the solenoid valve for compressed air is activated to supply compressed air to the suction devices 13 and 22, and the yarn end suction operation is started. At almost the same time, motor 2 starts, and this time it moves base 8 in the opposite direction.
Suction device 1 rotated 1/3 and attached to arm 12
3 rotates along the outer peripheral surface of the package, and another suction device 22 attached to a bracket 23 rotates along the end surface of the package. During this rotation, the yarn end is sucked into one of the many suction devices 13 and 22 and ejected with a swirling flow toward the exhaust port 18.
Since the exhaust ports 18 of the suction devices 13 and 22 are covered with a wire mesh 19, the suctioned thread ends are caught by this or are once prevented from passing through, and are entangled here and stored in a rolled-up shape. It turns out. When the arm 12 rotates approximately 1 1/3 turns and returns to its original position, the motor 2
At the same time, the supply of compressed air to the suction devices 13 and 22 is also stopped by the operation of the solenoid valve. Next, the motor 9 is activated, the rack 10 is moved upward, and the arm 12 is separated in the direction opposite to the package and returned to its initial position. Thereafter, the conveyor moves and transports the package 29, but in this case, the tangled yarn ends are pulled out from the suction device that sucks and stores the yarn ends and hangs down from the package 29.

このときの糸端yは第4図に示す如くなる。 At this time, the yarn end y becomes as shown in FIG.

Although it is more reliable and preferable to provide another suction device for the end surface of the package via the bracket as shown in this embodiment, this is not always necessary. In this case, it is preferable to provide suction devices at positions slightly protruding from both ends of the outer circumferential surface of the package, as this makes it possible to easily capture the thread ends on the end surfaces of the package.
