Conventionally, various adapters have been known for catheters that are inserted into cavities, tubes, blood vessels, etc. for the purpose of injecting or inhaling liquids, as well as ensuring passage patency. These adapters are flexible and have elasticity. The cylindrical body made of synthetic resin is manufactured using injection molding.

However, when injection molding is used, the shape of the conventional adapter makes it difficult to pull out the mold. This is because in conventional adapters, the shape of the inner cavity of the adapter body has been improved so that the flow of liquid is not blocked even when it is bent or pressure is applied, and the shape of the outer surface of the adapter body has been improved. This is because no consideration was given to

Therefore, the purpose of this invention is to improve the shape of the outer surface of the adapter body to make it easier to pull out the mold, and to prevent bending or pressure from being applied due to the shape of the outer surface. To provide a method for molding a synthetic resin cylindrical body as an adapter for a catheter, in which the lumen of the adapter body is not completely blocked and the flow of liquid is not obstructed even when the adapter body is heated.

以下、この発明の合成樹脂筒状体の成形方法を
実施例として示した図面に従つて説明する。
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The method for molding a synthetic resin cylindrical body according to the present invention will be explained below with reference to drawings showing examples.

The mold for the synthetic resin cylindrical body 9 is composed of the insert 2 of the upper mold 1 on the fixed side, the insert 4 of the lower mold 3 on the movable side, and the inserts 7 and 8 of the left and right slide cores 5 and 6. has been done. Insert 2 of upper mold 1 and insert 4 of lower mold 3
is formed with a belt-shaped protrusion 11 having two annular grooves 10, and serves as the female mold of the mold, and the inserts 7 and 8 of the slide cores 5 and 6 have one part shaped like a circular injection mold and the other part made into a two-piece mold. It is made into a stepped circular cast body, and is used as a male mold of the mold for the synthetic resin cylindrical body 9.

The molten synthetic resin raw material is forced into the mold for the synthetic resin cylindrical body 9 constructed as described above, and is cooled and solidified. (See FIG. 1.) Next, the lower die 3 is moved in the direction of the arrow, and at the same time the slide cores 5 and 6 are also shifted in the direction of the arrow. (As shown in Fig. 2.) Furthermore, the lower mold 3 is moved in the direction of the arrow until the slide cores 5 and 6 are separated from the upper mold 1, and the slide cores 5 and 6 are also combined with their inserts 7 and 8. It is shifted in the direction of the arrow until it separates from the resin cylindrical body 9. (As shown in FIG. 3.) Since the synthetic resin cylindrical body 9 of the present invention is molded as described above, in the state shown in FIG. nest 7,8

The inserts 7 and 8 of the slide cores 5 and 6 are pulled out by being engaged with a band-shaped protrusion 11 having two annular grooves 10 formed on the insert 4 of the lower mold.

Therefore, the synthetic resin cylindrical body 9 does not stick to the insert 2 of the upper mold 1 or the inserts 7 and 8 of the slide cores 5 and 6, and does not stick to the insert 4 of the lower mold 3. will be left on top.

Moreover, the synthetic resin cylindrical body 9 molded in this way
has a cylindrical part 12 as shown in FIG. 4, and two annular protrusions 13 are formed on the cylindrical part 12, so even if the synthetic resin cylindrical body 9 is bent from that part, The two annular protrusions 13 come into contact with each other and do not bend until the inner cavity is completely blocked, and the flow of liquid is not obstructed.
