密接するシールリツプは中空に形成されていてシ
ール反力をある程度に抑え、ドア閉りに悪影響を
及ぼさないようになつている。また、ドアウエザ
ーストリツプは前述のようにドア周縁部にエンド
レス状態に装着される関係上、ドアの隅角部分で
はシールリツプが内周側に倒れ変形してしまうた
め、このシールリツプの倒れ防止対策としてシー
ルリツプの内周に突支え用の脚片を突設したもの
が知られている。これを第2図によつて説明する
と、1はドア周縁部にエンドレス状に装着された
ドアウエザーストリツプを示し、第1図に示すド
ア本体D側ではその取付面Daに図外のクリツプ
で固定し、ドアサツシユS側ではその外周に形成
した嵌着溝(図示省略)に嵌装固定してある。こ
のドアウエザーストリツプ1はドア周縁部に前述
のようにして固定されるベース部2と、このベー
ス部2に一体成形されてドア閉時に車体開口縁部
Bと密接する断面略楕円形の中空シールリツプ3
とからなり、この中空シールリツプ3の内周に突
支え用の脚片4を一体に突設してある。このよう
に、中空シールリツプ3の内周に脚片4を突設す
ることにより、ドアウエザーストリツプ1が彎曲
されて装着されるドア周縁部の隅角部分では、こ
の脚片4が例えばドア本体D側ではその取付面
Daに第2図実線で示すように当接し、該脚片4
が突支えとなつてシールリツプ3の内周側への倒
れ変形を防止することができるのである。

口縁部Bとの密接部分の微少クリアランスを侵透
してしまい、防水対策を徹底することができない

によつて当り面13の外縁部が車体開口縁部Bの
車体側シール面Ba側に倒れ変形して、該シール
面Baに強圧し得るようにしてある。
