〈技術分野〉
この発明は電子写真複写機の現像槽内の撹拌ロ

〈従来技術とその欠点〉
従来の複写機における現像槽内の撹拌器は、現
像容器内にトナーおよびデベロツパーの二成分の
現像剤が入つており、この二成分の現像剤を均一
にするため撹拌器により撹拌されている。このよ
うな二成分現像方式においては、感光体ドラム上
の潜像が場所的に偏つて常時形成されると、トナ
ー濃度に偏りが生じ、複写画像に濃度差が生じ
る。感光体ドラムの軸方向におけるトナー消費ム
ラはこれを積極的に解消しない限りそのまま残
る。したがつて撹拌器は軸方向の撹拌性が重要な
機能となる。第5図および第6図は従来実施或い
は提案されている撹拌器およびその撹拌器につい
ての実験結果である。撹拌器の軸方向に濃度の異
なる2つのトナーを現像槽内に入れ、時間経過に
伴う所定の測定点におけるトナー濃度の変化を測
定したものである(P1,P2,P3は現像槽内
の左、中央、右にそれぞれ対応する)。回転軸に
対して斜めに付設された半円形の回転翼を有する
撹拌器の場合(第5図A、第6図A参照)、また
回転軸に対し、楕円形の撹拌翼、および回転軸に
対して平行に付設された撹拌翼を設けたもの(第
5図B、第6図B参照)は何れも左右方向の流動
性が劣り、左右対称的に撹拌されていない。この
偏りが濃度均一化の時間を遅らせる一因にもなつ
ている。更に、従来においては撹拌器を2本設置
し、これを相互逆転するもの等もあるが、装置が
大型化し、また複雑化するという問題があつた
(特開昭58−25669、特開昭56−36671、特開昭58

〈実施例〉
第1図はこの発明に係る撹拌器を示すものであ
る。同図において、13は回転軸、11はこの回

の撹拌翼、12は前記回転軸に対して軸方向に付
設された第2の撹拌翼である。前記回転軸は中空
であつてその内面に螺旋形状の溝15がもうけら
れ、また所定の箇所に貫通孔14が形成されてい
る。また前記第2の撹拌翼12は所定箇所に切欠
きが設けられており、この撹拌器の周囲の現像剤
は撹拌器の回転により回転軸のいずれかの軸方向
に流動される。一方上記貫通孔14より回転軸内
部に入つた現像材はその内面に設けられた螺旋形
状の溝により撹拌器の回転とともに軸内部を移動

の流れと回転軸内部の現像剤の流れを逆方向にす
ることにより全体として撹拌器の軸方向の流動性
を向上させ、軸方向の撹拌性能を向上させること
