The gist of this invention is that 70 to 500 parts by weight of a powdery or crystalline decalcifying agent containing sodium sulfite, sodium thiosulfate, or calcium sulfite and 50 to 200 parts by weight of water are added to 100 parts by weight of pullulan. A descaling jelly characterized by being mixed into a fluid or semi-solid state. The present invention also includes the addition of various additives and seasoning chemicals to the descaling jelly of the present invention. Additives include jelly fluidity inhibitors such as fiber strips,
There are strength maintaining agents, fillers, viscosity and adhesiveness modifiers such as gum arabic, methyl cellulose, and sodium alginate, and sparingly soluble substances that adjust the solubility of jelly such as starch, cellulose, water glass, and gypsum. It is mixed depending on the purpose.
Seasoning chemicals are substances that actively impart flavor to water, such as citric acid, succinic acid, sweeteners, seasonings, and calcium hydroxide. Here, pullulan (common chemical name) is manitotriose with α-1,
It is a natural polysaccharide with a linear structure consisting of six repeating bonds and a molecular structure of (C 6 H 10 O 5 ) o ·H 2 O. Also, as descaling chemicals, anhydrous sodium sulfite crystals,
There are sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate, powdered anhydrous sodium thiosulfate, powdered anhydrous calcium sulfite, etc., which are chemicals that can obtain sulfite ions and thiosulfate ions.

In the descaling jelly of the present invention, the descaling chemical 1 is mixed and dispersed in the pullulan aqueous solution 2 as most of crystals or amorphous particles or powder (see FIG. 1). Therefore, it is in a state protected by the chemical pullulan aqueous solution 2 and is stable against acids and alkalis over time. Moreover, the outer surface of the pullulan aqueous solution dries to form an oxygen-impermeable membrane, which suppresses air oxidation of the chemicals inside the celery. Next, since pullulan jelly is easily water-soluble, when the jelly is placed in water, the outer layer of the jelly will quickly dissolve and the descaling chemicals, additives, and seasoning chemicals inside will dissolve. Moreover, when the jelly is pulled out of water, the surface of the jelly dries in a short time and returns to its original shell state.

Furthermore, this jelly is easy to use because the pullulan aqueous solution 2 has adhesive strength and can be applied to various types of utensils and materials. The viscosity (jelly hardness and fluidity) can be adjusted as appropriate by adjusting the concentration of pullulan and a viscosity modifier.

Example: Descaling jelly 3, which is a mixture of 100 parts by weight of pullulan, 300 parts by weight of anhydrous sodium sulfite powder, and 100 parts by weight of water, is attached to a stirrer 6, and then gently stirred in a cup 5 containing 4 parts of tap water. Just by mixing, the limescale in the tap water 4 disappeared instantly (the presence of limescale was observed through the color reaction of iodine starch). Moreover, 0.3g of the descaling jelly of this example
It was so effective that it could treat 100 cups of water.

As described above, according to the descaling jelly of the present invention,
(i) It is possible to remove scale from a large amount of water with a small amount; (ii)
It is tasteless and odorless and harmless to the body, and (iii) it is fast-acting as it can be instantly dissolved in water by just stirring it lightly in water.
(iv) Since the outer skin of the jelly is difficult for oxygen to pass through, air oxidation of chemicals such as descaling chemicals inside the jelly is suppressed over time. (v) Also, since jelly has adhesive strength, it can be used by applying it to objects of various materials and shapes, and (vi) its viscosity and solubility can be easily and freely adjusted, which is an excellent effect.
