る。(Prior Art) The feed dog of a sewing machine that has been commonly used in the past has three tooth sections a, b, and c arranged almost parallel to each other on a main body 2, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7. establish. The tooth portions a, b, and c are each formed by machining a trapezoidal portion into a chevron-shaped uneven tooth portion. These teeth correspond to the long grooves 14, 16, 1 of the throat plate 12 shown in FIG.
8 from below, and feeds the fabric through the four movements described below. Place the needle plate 12 on the sewing machine head 2.
It is stored and fixed 13 in a recess provided in the bed 30 of No. 8 (FIG. 5), and a sliding plate 26 is stored in the front surface thereof. The fabric W to be sewn is placed on the upper surface of the throat plate 12, and the fabric W is sewn from above using the presser foot 22 of the presser foot 20.
Press. A sewing thread (not shown) is passed through the thread guides 32, 34, and 36 provided in the sewing machine head 28 and inserted into the needle hole of a needle (not shown) attached to the needle bar 24. By driving the sewing machine, the feed dog body 2 makes four movements together with the feed dog base (not shown) fixed thereto, and its teeth a, b, and c move the fabric W from the bottom upward → forward. Parallel direction→Downward→
Since the teeth are displaced in the backward parallel direction, the teeth a, b,
The fabric W in contact with c is fed in the forward arrow direction, and the needle of the needle bar 24 moves up and down in the needle hole 15 of the throat plate 12 in synchronization with this feed. The sewing thread (needle thread) attached to the needle of the needle bar 24 passes through the fabric W and connects with the bobbin thread (both not shown) drawn out from a bobbin stored in a hook provided below the needle plate 12. A final seam is formed in the fabric W by working together.

た。(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, the chevron-shaped tooth portions a, b, and c of the main body 2 are formed from a metal material by molding or milling, and the upper surface is plated, which makes it difficult for long-term use. Friction caused by contact with the fabric causes wear on the chevron-shaped teeth, often making it impossible to feed the fabric smoothly, resulting in the inconvenience of having to replace them with new ones. , c are formed into a chevron-shaped tooth shape, which makes the manufacturing process cumbersome. Furthermore, when the fabric is fed out, the top of the chevron-shaped teeth contacts the fabric, pushing the fabric up from below and feeding it forward. Since the contact surface between the top of the chevron-shaped teeth and the fabric is small, there have been problems such as slippage when feeding especially thin fabrics, wrinkles in the fabric, and the inability to feed the fabric smoothly.

That is, in the feed dog of the sewing machine according to the present invention, diamond grains are directly attached to the flat surface of the trapezoidal portion without forming a chevron-shaped tooth portion on the trapezoidal portion, unlike the conventional example. Electrodeposition is the most suitable method for attaching diamond particles.

る。(Function) Since diamond grains are attached to the trapezoidal part of the feed dog, when the trapezoidal part of the feed dog is displaced by the four movements in the hole of the throat plate and feeds the fabric in a predetermined direction, the diamond grains are attached to the trapezoidal part of the feed dog. It comes in contact with the lower surface of the fabric and uses its frictional force to feed the fabric in a predetermined direction.

Trapezoidal protrusions 4, 6, and 8 parallel to each other are formed on both edges of the hole h and at the intermediate portions of both edges. In the conventional example,
Although these trapezoidal protrusions 4, 6, and 8 are formed into toothed portions having a chevron-shaped unevenness, in the present invention, diamond grains D are simply attached to the upper surfaces of the trapezoidal protrusions.
As this attachment method, an electrodeposition plating method may be adopted. That is, when plating the feed dog main body 2, diamond grains are electrodeposited on the upper surfaces of the trapezoidal protrusions 4, 6, and 8. In addition, the feed dog main body 2 of the sewing machine
is screwed onto the feed dog base 3.

止できる等の効果がある。(Effects) The feed dog of the sewing machine according to the present invention does not require complicated machining of the chevron-shaped tooth portion as in the conventional example, and the trapezoidal protrusion portion with diamond grains attached to the upper surface is attached to the fabric in contact with the upper surface of the trapezoid. can be easily sent in a predetermined direction by four movements, and is more durable than conventional feed teeth with chevron-shaped teeth. In addition, the top of the chevron in the conventional example comes into contact with the fabric, and when feeding it in a predetermined direction, especially when feeding thin fabric, slippage may occur between the teeth and the fabric, or wrinkles may occur in the fabric. On the other hand, the feed dog of the sewing machine of the present invention feeds the fabric with the flat surface of the trapezoidal tooth to which diamond abrasive grains are attached, so the surface in contact with the fabric and the upper surface of the trapezoidal tooth is wider, so the frictional effect of the diamond grains is reduced. Working in conjunction with this, it is easy and smooth to feed the fabric, and the chevron-shaped teeth prevent creases that occur in fabrics, especially thin fabrics, and prevent slippage between the teeth and the fabric. be.
