The present inventor focused on the development of a warp foil yarn with the same pattern on the front and back sides, and conducted repeated research, but encountered a major problem in the process. That is, the target table,
In order to obtain a warp thread with the same pattern on both sides of the back, it is necessary to apply the pattern in the correct position on the front and back sides, and this can be done simply and easily on a material sheet for warp thread that is at least 50 meters long. A new challenge arose: a solution to ensure accuracy.

In the present invention, the raw material for the double-sided pattern warp foil yarn material is a composite laminate in which gold and silver foil base paper is laminated on the front and back sides of a base film, or a film is further laminated on top of the gold and silver foil base paper. Since a composite laminate is applied, it is possible to solve the problem of partial thickness unevenness in a single layer with such composites, which can therefore be seen in foil threads obtained by cutting a material consisting of a single layer. There is no pattern deviation between the warp threads on the loom and the warp threads on the loom due to uneven elongation due to uneven material thickness. Even though the composite laminate needs to have a length of at least one weaving lot length (at least 50 m using a normal loom), by laminating its constituent materials on one side, one on the front and one on the back, wrinkles do not occur. can achieve this. When pasting such long gold and silver leaf base paper or film on both the front and back sides of the base film at the same time,
It is necessary to laminate the front and back long gold and silver foil base papers and films while holding them at the same tension to prevent wrinkles, and it is technically extremely difficult to do this in practice, but one side By doing this step by step, the base film is stretched lightly to the extent that it does not loosen, and the gold and silver foil base paper to be laminated and the film can be attached thereto using a normal tension-controlled winding method to avoid wrinkles. Thus, according to the present invention, a long material made of a composite laminate that is free of wrinkles and has a good texture can be obtained industrially and simply. The texture of the material is that the gold and silver foil base paper that is laminated on the front and back sides of the transparent base film is coated with a material that has a width equivalent to twice the length or twice the width of the woven fabric. Since the result obtained by dividing the image into left and right halves is applied, the front and back sides match. This is because the gold and silver foil base papers obtained in this way are products of the same lot and have substantially the same physical properties such as thickness, strength, and stiffness.

On the other hand, if the textures of the front and back sides of a composite laminate do not match, the textures of the front and back patterns will also not match.Furthermore, even if the positions of the front and back patterns shown below are aligned, their usefulness will be extremely limited. Although it will be low,
In the present invention, as described above, a composite laminate with matching textures on the front and back sides can be obtained, and therefore, its usefulness is high.

In the present invention, if necessary, a coating layer (for example, a coating layer of lacquer or synthetic resin) for sealing is formed on the gold and silver foil base paper on the front and back sides of this long material, or a coating layer for sealing is formed. A layer, a metal vapor deposited layer for imparting metallic luster, and a protective coating layer may be sequentially formed, and a metal vapor deposited layer for imparting metallic luster may be formed on the front and back films as necessary. may be applied. In the case of a composite laminate in which a film is further laminated on top of a gold and silver foil base paper, the metal vapor deposition layer only needs to be applied to the front and back films.

In the present invention, since the gold and silver foil base paper is laminated on the front and back surfaces of the base film, the gold and silver foil base paper provides a fluffy and soft texture with excellent texture, gloss, and color tone. Therefore, according to the present invention, the delicate texture required for high-grade Nishijin textile obi can be expressed in double-sided pattern warp foil yarn.

However, when gold and silver foil base paper is pasted onto a base film, wrinkles occur after pasting, and these wrinkles appear in the pattern when it is printed. If the wrinkles occur in different ways on the front and back sides of the paper, the patterns on the front and back sides will look different. These are phenomena discovered at the research stage related to the present invention.

In view of this problem, the inventor of the present invention made many attempts to attach gold and silver foil base paper to the front and back sides of the base film with uniform wrinkles on both sides, and as a result, the length of the target warp foil yarn base paper was twice as long as the target warp foil yarn base paper. The material is one obtained by dividing the corresponding gold and silver leaf base paper into two halves into the front and back, or one obtained by dividing the gold and silver leaf base paper with a width equivalent to twice the width of the fabric to be woven into the left and right halves. By laminating one of the former two-part material or one of the latter two-part material on one side of the base film and the other one on the other side of the base film, the front and back sides of the base film are separated. succeeded in making wrinkles uniform in paper. Thus, according to the present invention, by applying the same pattern on the front and back sides of a composite laminate in which gold and silver foil base paper is adhered and laminated on the front and back sides of a base film, or a film is further adhered and laminated on the gold and silver foil base paper, this can be achieved. It has now been possible to provide a double-sided patterned warp foil yarn raw fabric which can be formed with the same texture on both sides, and which can exhibit the delicate texture required for high-grade Nishijin textile obi and the same pattern on both sides.

If the composite laminate is made by laminating a film on top of the gold and silver foil base paper on the front and back sides of the base film, the above-mentioned fluffy and soft texture based on the gold and silver foil base paper can be visually perceived through the film. As a result, it has a deep meaning.
