This type of expansion joint is used when an existing building is expanded adjacent to another building, or to avoid the effects of uneven settlement, earthquakes, etc., by separating the underground outer wall from the main body of the building. It is suitable as a means for expanding and contracting a high-rise building, or when a low-rise building exists around a high-rise building.

Therefore, when the distance between the structures 1A and 1B expands or contracts due to the influence of an earthquake or the like, or when there is a difference in the vertical height, the respective supports 6A and 6B fit into their engagement recesses 9 and 13. At the same time, the sliding plate 10 of the support 6A expands and contracts to accommodate the amount of displacement between the structures 1A and 1B.

However, in the case of the conventional expansion joint as described above, the expansion and contraction of the sliding plate 10,
It is assumed that displacement of the position between the buildings 1A and 1B is allowed by the rotation of the engagement recesses 9, 13 and the rotation joints of the engagement columns 11, 15, so uneven settlement may occur. For example, both of them are relatively different, for example, 1 to 2 times in a few days.
When the displacement is about mm, it works effectively to some extent and the amount of displacement can be tolerated. However, when relative displacement occurs instantaneously like an earthquake, the expansion and contraction of the sliding plate 10 is unable to respond to the vibration cycle, and as a result, overload is applied to the cover 3 and supports 6A and 6B, causing cracks and plastic deformation in these parts, resulting in the desired effect not being achieved. It has the disadvantage that it cannot be achieved, and the construction work cannot be easily carried out because the number of component parts is large and the structure is complicated.

を目的とする。
The present invention has been made by focusing on these conventional drawbacks, and by supporting the cover with an elastic support, it is possible to prevent not only long-term relative displacement such as uneven subsidence, but also earthquakes. We have developed a new expansion joint that can easily and reliably tolerate relative displacement even in a short period of time, and at the same time has a significantly simpler configuration than conventional models, making construction work extremely easy. The purpose is to provide information.

To explain the case where the building 1A (or 1B) side sinks, the vertical elastic support 18A (or 18B) expands as the building 1A (or 1B) sinks, and at the same time, the vertical elastic support 18B (or 18A) contracts, and the horizontal elastic support further expands. At the same time as the body 21A (or 21B) bends upward, the horizontal elastic support 21B (or 21
A) is bent downward, and the cover 3 is displaced to a position where the loads on each elastic support are balanced.

Since this amount of displacement is approximately 1/2 of the amount of settlement of the building 1A, the L fitting 26A (or 26B) of the rain joint 24A (or 24B) is relative to the connecting ridge 2A (or 2B). and slide it upward to attach the L fitting 26 of the rain joint 24B (or 24A).
B (or 26A) slides downward against the connecting ridge 2A (or 2B), and as a result, the building 1A
(or 1B) is absorbed.

In this way, the amount of subsidence is absorbed by the elastic deformation of each elastic support, and the amount of movement of the cover 3 is only about 1/2 of the amount of subsidence, so the response characteristics to the subsidence are fast and smooth. It will be done.

Further, when a horizontal displacement occurs such that the distance between the buildings 1A and 1B becomes wider or narrower, the horizontal elastic support 21A (or 21B) expands and the horizontal elastic support 21B (or 2
1A) is contracted, and the vertical elastic supports 18A and 18B are deflected horizontally to the left or right, respectively, and the cover 3 is placed in a position where the load on each elastic support is balanced.

In this case, since the vertical elastic supports 18A and 18B are bent in the horizontal direction, the amount of displacement of the cover 3 is further reduced, and the amount of displacement of the cover 3 is also reduced by the sliding plates 28A and 28A of the rain joints 24A and 24B. This will be absorbed by the relative movement between 28B and L fittings 26A, 26B.

The vertical elastic support 37 has its mounting flange portions 39A and 39B attached to the building 1, respectively.
The connecting protrusions 2A and 2B of A and 1B are fixed to the upper surfaces of opposite end sides by mounting screws 40A and 40B, and the plate spring portion 38 is in contact with the lower surface of the center of the cover 3 in a compressed state. , which supports about 90% of the total weight of the cover 3.

In this example, in the configuration of the second example (shown in FIG. 4), the vertical elastic support body 37 omits the long holes 41A, 41B of the mounting flange portions 39A, 39B, and instead uses U-shaped leaf springs. A long hole 42 for attachment is formed in the center of the portion 38, and the vertical elastic support 37 bridges the U-shaped plate spring portion 38 between the connecting ridges 2A and 2B so as to be freely tiltable. The flange portions 39A and 39B are swingably attached to the center of the plate spring 43 via an adjustment washer 44.
It has the same structure as the second embodiment except that it is interposed between the connecting protrusions 2A, 2B and the cover 3 in a state where they are simply brought into contact with the lower part of the cover 3, respectively.

Therefore, in the case of this third embodiment as well, the relative displacement in the vertical direction of the structures 1A and 1B can be reliably tolerated by the elastic deformation of each elastic support, as shown by the chain line in FIG. , the horizontal elastic supports 21A and 21B also respond to relative displacement in the horizontal direction.
Either one of them expands and the other contracts, and the amount of displacement can be tolerated by sliding between the flange portions 39A, 39B and the lower surface of the cover 3.

In addition, in the FIGS. 1 to 3 embodiments, the width of the connecting ridges 2A, 2B formed on the buildings 1A, 1B is wide, and therefore the width of the cover 3 becomes extremely wide, increasing its weight. In this case, as shown in FIG. 7, the vertical elastic supports 37 (as shown in FIGS. 4 and 6) or the vertical elastic supports 18A and 18B (as shown in FIG. 2)
It is preferable to arrange auxiliary vertical elastic supports 45A and 45B on the outside.

Thus, the cover 3 and the horizontal elastic supports 21A, 21
B means that after the horizontal elastic supports 21A, 21B are attached to the connecting protrusions 2A, 2B, the cover 3 is lowered from above, and the hooks 50A, 50B are attached to the leaf spring portions of the horizontal elastic supports 21A, 21B. 47 and then press it against its elasticity to bend the leaf spring part 47 inwardly. In this state, the cover 3 is further lowered to release the hook pieces 50A, 5
When the engagement between 0B and the leaf spring part 47 is disengaged, the leaf spring part 47 returns to its original position due to its elasticity, and its lower end is inserted and held in the hook pieces 50A and 50B.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the cover is elastically supported by vertical elastic supports and horizontal elastic supports, long-term relative displacement of the structure such as uneven settlement is prevented. Of course, it is possible to reliably and immediately tolerate instantaneous vertical and/or horizontal relative displacement of the structure due to earthquakes, etc., and there is no risk of unexpected large stress being applied to the covering. Damage to the cover can be reliably prevented.
