<Prior art> Wet sanders that grind and polish workpieces by supplying cleaning liquid to the surface of a sanding belt are disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 49-3438, Japanese Patent Publication No. 51-43237, and Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 59-1983.
It is publicly known as disclosed in No.-42839 and the like.
These are intended to moisten the surface of the sanding belt with a cleaning liquid and cool it to improve the surface of the sanding belt, and to remove polishing debris adhering to the belt surface.

<Problems to be solved by the invention> By the way, all of these conventional devices
A cleaning liquid is supplied to the outer surface of a water-impermeable sanding belt made of resin film or the like as a base material, and a removal roll, removal belt, etc. is attached at a position in front of the belt in the running direction, and the liquid is applied to the surface of the belt. The structure was such that the material was squeezed out from the surface. For this reason, the abrasive debris stuck between the abrasive grains on the belt surface receives liquid pressure, roll pressure, or belt pressure from the surface, and is constantly subjected to an inward force on the belt, and the effect of that force itself is This has the effect of pushing the polishing debris between the abrasive grains, and for this reason, the polishing debris could not be removed sufficiently.

Furthermore, since the liquid is scraped off from the surface of the belt by physical contact, the removal of the liquid is incomplete and the surface remains constantly wet, making it easy for the liquid to run down the surface and fall. As a result, there is a problem that the processed material gets wet and its surface gets contaminated.
This method cannot be applied to some processed materials. In addition, if you want to increase the liquid removal rate,
There is a limit because it is necessary to strongly press a spatula or the like against the belt surface side, which increases wear on the belt surface and impedes the running of the endless sanding belt.

Due to the water permeability of the endless sanding belt 10, the cleaning liquid passes through the belt 10 from the inside to the outside, is discharged to the surface side of the workpiece, and is collected into the liquid collection duct 17.

The endless sanding belt 10, which has been further moistened by being supplied with the cleaning liquid, is injected with pressurized air from the inside by the air injection section 16. Therefore, the cleaning liquid remaining in the fiber pores of the belt 10 is pushed outward by the pressure of the pressurized air, is received by the liquid recovery duct 17, and is recovered from its discharge port. By forcibly discharging the cleaning liquid and allowing pressurized air to pass through the endless sanding belt 10, polishing debris can be removed even better.

In FIG. 2, a cleaning liquid supply section 23 and a first air injection section 24 are sequentially arranged inside the ascending section (on the right side in the figure) of the belt 10, and the descending section (on the left side in the figure).
A second air injection section 25 is disposed inside the air. A first liquid recovery duct 26 covers the cleaning liquid supply section 23 and the first air injection section 24 on the surface side of the ascending section, and covers the second air injection section 25 on the surface side of the descending section. A second liquid recovery duct 27 is provided. In this configuration, the first air injection section 24 discharges most of the cleaning liquid inside the endless sanding belt 10, and the second air injection section 25 further removes residual polishing debris and residual liquid inside the endless sanding belt 10. remove. In this case, the endless sanding belt 10 is therefore essentially dry below the pressure pad 6 and can be well adapted to grinding and polishing workpieces which would be disadvantageous if moisture were present.
The air injection parts 24 and 25 are provided on the left and right running parts of the endless sanding belt 10, respectively, because the rolls 7, 8, and 9 are equipped with a support frame, a tension cylinder, a running steering device, etc. (not shown). This is because there are various attachments and there is a limit to the attachment space, and the attachment cannot be placed only on one side.

In addition, in such a configuration, the air injection section 2
4 and 25 may be opened and closed differently to enable selective use. Through such control, the pressure can be adjusted depending on the adhesion state of sanding debris on the surface of the endless sanding belt 10 and the wet state. The amount of air to be injected can be adjusted, allowing efficient air injection.

In this device, the material conveying belt 4 is run,
When the belt 32 is run and the workpiece is supplied to the workpiece passage, the workpiece is subjected to heavy grinding under the grinding drive roll 30. During this process, the endless sanding belt 32 is moistened by being supplied with the cleaning liquid by the cleaning liquid supplying part 37, and pressurized air is injected from the inside by the air injection part 38, so that the endless sanding belt 32 remains in the fiber vacancies of the belt 32. In such an apparatus, the material conveying belt 43 is run, and the endless sanding belt 48 is caused to travel in a direction perpendicular to the material conveying belt 43 by the driving roll 46, thereby supplying the workpiece to the material conveying path. When the end of the processed material comes directly under the grinding and polishing device 45,
The pressing cylinder 50 is driven to extend, and the pressing pad 51 at the tip thereof is brought into pressure contact with the inner surface of the endless sanding belt 48, and the cleaning liquid is jetted from the liquid jet nozzle of the cleaning liquid supply section 55.

The endless sanding belt 48 has a long grinding section, and abrasive debris is particularly likely to accumulate near its exit. Therefore, in this embodiment, the cleaning liquid is resupplied to the belt 48 by the cleaning liquid supply section 55, and the cleaning liquid is discharged from the belt 48 by pressurized air at the air injection sections 56 and 57, and the polishing debris is discharged. <Effects of the Invention> As described above, the present invention includes an endless sanding belt made of a water-permeable nonwoven fabric belt, and
Since the cleaning liquid is allowed to permeate from the inside to the outside of the endless sanding belt, polishing debris adhering to the surface of the sanding belt can be effectively removed, and therefore the grinding and polishing by the sanding belt can be carried out as much as possible. It can be applied beautifully. In addition, before reaching the grinding part of the workpiece, the cleaning liquid is supplied, the cleaning liquid is blown away by air, and the cleaning liquid is collected by the recovery duct in sequence, so the endless sanding belt is kept in a relatively dry state. It has excellent effects such as preventing the processed material from getting wet.
