Either a glass container with a pressing part made of rubber or the like, or a flexible and elastic plastic container with an opening as described above at one end was used. These eye drop containers are filled with a medicinal solution, placed close to the eye facing upward with the opening facing downward, and the pressure of the medicinal solution is increased by pressing the pressure part or the container itself, thereby allowing the medicinal solution to drip from the opening. are doing.

た。 If too much pressure is applied to the pressure part or the container itself during use, a corresponding number of drops of the drug solution will be expelled in succession, resulting in the instillation of more than the desired amount of drug solution into the eye.
In the first place, administering more than a certain amount of eye drops at one time does not improve the therapeutic effect; instead, repeating a fixed amount of eye drops at intervals increases the therapeutic effect. Instilling an unnecessary amount of eye drops at once is not only uneconomical, but also causes excess drug solution to be poured into the oral cavity through the nasolacrimal duct, which can induce systemic side effects if the solution is a strong one. be. Therefore, in order to treat only the eye disease without causing these side effects, the amount of liquid injected into the eye at one time must be smaller than conventionally. However, with conventional eye drop containers, it has been structurally impossible to control the small amount of drug solution discharged.

A reservoir 5 for liquid 4 having a volume corresponding to ~30ml)
A liquid 4 with a small diameter that communicates with the other end and opens at the other end.
It is a discharge pipe having an outflow passage 6, and has a reservoir 5 inside the container main body 1, and the other end is closely passed through an inner lid 7 that is closely fitted into the opening 2, and is projected outside the container main body. It is installed on 1. The reservoir section 5 has a cross section with both ends open, and the outer circumferential side surface of a circular short cylindrical member 8 is fixed to the end of the discharge pipe 3, and communicates with the outflow path 6. Reference numeral 9 denotes a liquid container in which a lid 10 is externally fitted and screwed onto an opening 2 of a container body 1 to which a discharge pipe 3 is attached.

A small and constant portion of the liquid 4' moves in each direction and remains in the reservoir 5 due to its surface tension and the affinity between the liquid 4 and the material of the reservoir 5. In this state, when the container body 1 is pressed from the outside in the direction of the arrow a, the air pressure in the space 11 increases, and the liquid 4' remaining in the reservoir 5 is discharged to the outside through the outflow path 6. .

のではない。 In the first and second embodiments described above, the container bodies 1, 11 are made of a flexible and elastic synthetic resin such as polyester, and the container bodies 1, 11 are pressed directly from the outside. Another method for increasing the air pressure in the space 11 is, for example, by attaching a pressing part of an appropriate shape made of rubber or a flexible and elastic synthetic resin to the container body 1, 11 in communication with the pressing part, and pressing the pressing part. If the container bodies 1, 11 can have the same effect when pressed directly from the outside, they may be made of a hard material such as glass or synthetic resin such as polycarbonate. Also, the container body 1, 1
The shape of 1 allows the reservoirs 5, 51 to be separated from the stored liquid 4 and exposed to the space 11, and the pressure in the space 11 can be reduced by pressing the container bodies 1, 11 from the outside. The shape shown in the drawings is not restrictive as long as it can be raised. In addition, the reservoir part 5 or 51 has a short cylindrical member 8 or a rectangular cylindrical member 81 with both ends open at the tip of the discharge pipe 3 or 31 , but as shown in FIGS. As shown, liquid 4
The shape is not limited to the above-mentioned shape as long as the desired amount of .
