Traditionally, when removing snow that has accumulated on the roofs of houses and buildings that have downward slopes on the left and right sides, it is usually only possible to remove snow from one side, either the left or right, due to the relationship with the neighbor's property or the road. Therefore, at present it is generally done manually.

Traditional manual snowfall work is dangerous and results in many injuries and deaths every year. A method has been considered for this snow removal work that uses electric heat or hot air to melt some of the snow and make it slide along the roof surface, but the method for snow removal is to slope the roof down. Therefore, it was not possible to change the direction of snowfall, and not only did the problem remain, but the energy cost of generating heat was high.

In this invention, by moving the scraper horizontally from the end on the side where snow does not fall to the opposite end along the frame, the scraper will scrape up the snow accumulated on the roof to the required thickness and push it toward the ridge. After passing the ridge, the snow is pushed toward the edge of the snowfall side, raking up more snow and pushing it, and all the snow raked from the end is dropped from the roof. After removing the snow, the scraper lifting and displacing mechanism is activated, the lower end of the scraper is lifted, and the scraper is returned to the starting point of the scraper at the end opposite to the snow-falling side, with the lower end of the scraper lifted and out of contact with the scraped snow surface. After this return traverse stroke of the scraper, the entire frame to which the scraper is attached moves along the ridge direction a distance equal to or shorter than the width of the scraper and moves to the next snow-falling roof section. When the scraper returns to the starting end of the scraper traverse of the frame, the scraper downward displacement mechanism is activated, and the lower end of the scraper is lowered and immersed in the snow. Thereafter, as described above, when the scraper traverses toward the end of the scraper's traversal direction, it scrapes up the snow from the downwardly sloped roof portions on both the left and right sides of the roof, and drops it from the end of the roof where it is allowed to fall. By repeating the reciprocating horizontal movement of the scraper, the dislocation of the scraper, and the vertical movement of the entire frame in this way, it is possible to remove snow from the entire roof surface from one side.

In the embodiment shown in the drawings, the frame 1 is capable of reciprocating vertically on three rails 3, 4, and 5 laid in the direction of the ridge of the roof 2 by means of an endless wire 6 of a motor drive. A limit switch (not shown) is attached to the frame 1 to stop the vertical movement of the frame 1 and to switch it to vertical movement in the opposite direction. The frame body 1 connects a front frame 7 and a rear frame 8, each having an L-shaped cross section and a rear frame 8, which are elongated in a ∧ shape between the start end of the scraper traverse and the end of the scraper traverse, by a 〓-shaped connecting frame 9, and connect them with round steel 10. It is reinforced and integrated. The scraper 11 has a curved shape with a large curvature, and its upper part is fixed to an axle 13 of a wheel 12 that is suspended between a front frame 7 and a rear frame 8 and runs horizontally. Endless wires 14 are connected to both ends of the axle. The endless wire is stretched so as to be constantly tensioned by wire wheels 15, 16 provided at the left and right ends of the frame 1 and a tension roller 17 located in the middle. One wire wheel 15 is rotationally driven by a motor 18. Furthermore, a spring 19 is installed between the upper end of the scraper 11 and the front and rear frames 7, 8 to bias the lower edge of the scraper 11 in a direction that lifts it up. Further, a transposition shaft 21 is fixed to the axle 13, with which a roller 20 at the lower end contacts the horizontal portions of the front and rear frames 7, 8 so as to roll thereon.
Further, on the upper surface of the horizontal end of the front and rear frames 7, 8, there is a roller lifting slope plate 22 of a predetermined length with an upward slope.
is installed. The scraper lifting displacement mechanism and the scraper lowering displacement mechanism include a spring 19, a displacement shaft 21, and a roller lifting inclined plate 2.
2 and a limit switch (not shown) for switching the driving direction of the endless wire 14. In the figure, 23 is a longitudinal roller of the frame 1, 24 is a rail laying base, 25 is a longitudinal motor of the frame 1, 26 is a wire wheel of the endless wire 6, and 27 is snow.

所要の時間間隔をもつて繰り返す様にしている。 In this embodiment, the frame 1 is movable by rollers 23 on rails 3, 4, and 5 laid on the roof 2, and is moved vertically and reciprocally by an endless wire 6. The scraper 11 is movable on the front and rear frames 7 and 8 by its wheels 12,
It is driven to reciprocate and traverse by an endless wire 14. The scraper 11 in the middle of its traverse movement is urged counterclockwise by a spring 19 as shown in FIG.
We are trying to overcome the resistance that comes with snow removal. When the scraper 11 reaches the end of the scraper traverse of the frame 1, the roller 20 of the dislocation shaft 21 climbs onto the roller lifting inclined plate 22, and the dislocation shaft 21 tilts outward, compressing the spring 19. When the roller 20 passes the roller lifting inclined plate 22, the compressed spring 19 causes the scraper 11 to rotate counterclockwise around its axle 13, the lower end of the scraper 11 is lifted, and then the limit switch is activated to remove the endless wire 14. By moving in the opposite direction, the scraper 11 can be smoothly moved toward the left end without contacting the snow while being lifted up. When the scraper 11 reaches the starting end of the scraper traverse, the scraper is rotated clockwise by the action of the roller 20, the dislocation shaft 21, and the spring 19 in the same manner as described above, and is ready for the next traverse to the right. Simultaneously with or after this return movement, the frame moves toward the ridge by a distance shorter than the width of the scraper 11, and the next roof is cleared of snow in the same process as described above. In addition, when moving to the horizontal return stroke and vertical stroke, activate the timer,
It is made to repeat at required time intervals.

As described above, according to the present invention, snow can be mechanically removed from the roof side end on the public road side or the preferred side, and snowfall work can be carried out safely without any danger. Furthermore, since no heat is used, the process can be performed at low energy costs.
