される。4はトーチであり、図に示す頂点位置1
1から、被溶接材2a,2bの始端部6へ移送さ
れ、次いで突き合せ線2cの上方を終端部7まで
移送されながら溶接を行なう。

8a,8bは各々押え板3a,3bがバツクバー
1より所定距離上方にある時は、付勢部材10
a,10bの付勢力によつてバツクバー1の上方
へ突出し、一方、押え板8a,8bが下降すると
押え板3a,3bの押圧力により凹部9a,9b
内に挿入される。

ーチ4を図に示す原点位置11から始端部6まで
移送し、さらに被溶接材2a,2bの突合せ線2
cの上方を終端部7まで移送しながら溶接を行な
う。
