いる。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a shot separator for a shot blasting machine, and more particularly to a shot separator for a shot blasting machine for removing scale from iron plates, burrs, etc. from non-ferrous products and plastic products. Generally, in shot separators, the powder and granules collected after cleaning are dropped from above, and air is flowed from the sides or below of the powder, which is effective for cleaning fine particles such as sand, scale, and burrs. It is separated and removed from the material.

Difficulties arise when attempting to separate the granules recovered after cleaning using conventional shot separators. In other words, in some cases, the fine powder is not sufficiently separated and removed, and in other cases, the blasting material, which is effective for cleaning, is separated and removed along with the fine powder, making it difficult to obtain a stable separation ratio. There isn't.

る。 Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on embodiments. FIGS. 1 to 3 show the main parts of a shot separator according to the present invention, which has an approximately inverted triangular longitudinal section and a supporting member 1 on the lower surface. A box-shaped separator main body 2 to which a separator 1a is fixed is engaged with brackets 3, 3a fixed to a stand (not shown) via the supporting members 1, 1a and a rotating shaft 4,
The separator body 2 is rotatable by operating a handle 5 fixed to one end of the rotating shaft 4. A hopper 6 is provided at one end of the upper part of the separator body 2, and a transport device (not shown) such as a bucket elevator, screw conveyor, or belt conveyor (not shown) is provided above the hopper 6. The hopper 6 is supplied with powder containing a shot blasting material recovered from a shot blasting machine that is not used. A rectangular gate 7 is disposed near the opening at the lower end of the hopper 6, with one longitudinal side of the gate 7 fixed to a rotating shaft 8 supported by both side walls of the separator body 2. A gate handle 9 is provided at one end of the rotating shaft 8.
is fixed to the handle 9, and the gate 7 is fixed to the handle 9.
The degree of opening of the lower end opening of the hopper 6 is adjusted by the operation. A discharge port 10 is provided at the lower end of the separator body 2, and the discharge port 10 communicates with an impeller unit of a shot blasting machine, also not shown, via a conduit (not shown). On the inclined surface from the upper hopper 6 to the lower discharge port 10 of the separator main body 2, a plurality of air diffuser pipes 13 having a plurality of ventilation holes 11 and a wire mesh 12 wrapped around the outer periphery are installed horizontally and They are arranged in parallel and equally spaced from each other. One end of the diffuser pipe 13 communicates with a pipe 14 disposed adjacent to the outer side of the separator body 2 via a conduit 15, and the pipe 14 is further connected to a high-pressure air supply source such as a blower or a compressor (not shown). communicates with the device. Note that 16 is an air volume adjustment valve. An exhaust hole 17 is bored in the center of the ceiling of the separator body 2, and a duct 18
It communicates with a dust collection device (not shown) via.

Set to . Next, a high-pressure air supply device (not shown) is driven, and the air volume control valve 16 is appropriately adjusted to blow out high-pressure air at a predetermined pressure from the diffuser pipe 13. When the powder and granules collected after polishing in this state are fed to the hopper 6 by a conveying means (not shown), the powder and granules are formed into a layer of uniform height by the gate 7 near the lower end opening of the hopper 6. The water is leveled and flows on the inclined surface of the separator body 2 toward the discharge port 10 at the lower end.

い。 At this time, the fine particles in the powder and granular material are removed from the air diffuser pipe 13.
The powder is gradually pushed up to the top of the powder layer by the force of the high-pressure air ejected from the air, and finally rises to the space inside the separator body 2, passing through the exhaust hole 17 in the ceiling of the separator body 2 and through the duct 18 (not shown). It is guided to a dust collector where it is collected. The remaining powder is sent from the discharge port 10 through a conduit (not shown) to the impeller unit of the shot blasting machine (also not shown), and is used again for cleaning. In the example, the inclination angle of the separator body can be changed freely so that any kind of powder or granular material can flow smoothly, but if the separator body cannot be rotated due to factory space constraints, Alternatively, the bottom surface of the separator body may be fixed in a substantially horizontal position, and a vibrator may be attached to an appropriate location on the separator body, and the powder may be moved by the vibration of the vibrator.

ている。 As is clear from the above description, the present invention moves powder and granules collected after cleaning in an even layer on a flat surface on which a diffuser pipe that blows out high-pressure air is installed.
This is intended to separate the shot material having a small specific gravity and particle size from other fine powders in the powder or granular material. The features of the device of the present invention are explained in comparison with conventional devices: 1. Conventional separators separate particles by the suction force of a blower of a dust collector connected to the exit side of the separator. Although the wind speed changes depending on the clogging condition of the filter, the wind speed is stable because the separator of the present invention uses the blowing force of the blower or compressor disposed on the inlet side of the separator.

In the separator of the present invention, the powder and granules are leveled in advance into a layer of uniform height by a gate, and then high-pressure air is blown several times while moving the slope, so that the powder and granules are evenly distributed, and It undergoes wind selection for a relatively long time. Since the present invention has the above-mentioned characteristics, even when using shot material with small particle size and specific gravity, it is possible to always maintain a stable ratio and reliably separate the effective shot material from other fine particles. be.
